I was pretty much starving when I arrived school at around 2pm. As I was walking toward a food stand to get some of that delicious lemongrass chicken, the Lord said to me, "Yo, you gotta fast lunch today."
Wasn't that just the greatest moment of my day!!!....NOT.
Well, I felt that God would prepare someone with a broken ankle for me, so I started my lunch fast praying in tongues and listening to jazz music and reading about Obama's inauguration. Well, I even went up to a guy before I head to class and asked him, "Hey, by any chance you have an ankle problem?" And he said, "No, I don't." lol.
It was 5pm after my last class and I did not feel very hungry (praise the Lord!), but I was still praying in tongue, believing that He would provide me with someone. As I was walking down the Library Walk, this Asian dude is crutching (I just created this word, crutching. sweet.) towards me! And man was I excited. My heart cried out "THAT'S MY ANKLE!" His name's John and he sprained his ankle playing basketball. He could walk alright but he was being cautious by walking with crutches. At first he was hesistant in receiving prayers, and my spirit was like, "NO! God I'm supposed to pray for him!" And guess what? He then said, "Alright. A quick one!" To make the long story short, I left happy even though he refused to give me his crutches. I claimed that healing on the spot!
Then I sat down on a bench waiting for Jeff to come and pick me up. Next to me was Vince, we chatted a bit and I realized that he has a cast on his right foot! He was pretty open to prayer and he told me that he went to church up in San Jose (didn't ask him which one). Anyhow, I claimed healing of that broken bone that has a pin in it. He is going to the doctors tomorrow, and hopefully he can start walking without the crutches after 6 weeks! Amen!
I'm starting yet another personal challenge. In order to practice how to hear from the Lord and pratice being prophetic, I'm going to ask the Lord to tell me something like He did today and I would see that thing come to pass in that day! Words of knowledge, fill me up!
