THARSEO!

So.....What's "Tharseo"?

Tharseo is an Ancient Greek word that means "Have Courage!" or "Be of Good Cheer!" or "Take Heart!"

Jesus uses this term often after healing people and in John 16:33 (NIV): "I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world."

Put on the full armor of God so that you can
take your stand against the devil's schemes.
Pray in the Spirit on all occasions
with all kinds of prayers and requests.
With this in mind, be alert and
always keep on praying for all the saints.
Ephesians 6:11, 18

Wait for the Lord;
be strong and take heart
and wait for the Lord.
Psalm 27:14

Paul, David, and Jack(his prayer on Sat. night) are right about how we need to be strong, take our stand, and pray in order not to fall into devil's plan. God would you come and lead me. I don't want to lead myself. I want YOU to lead me so that I know that I'm walking on the right path. Oh God would You reveal Your magnificent plan to me so that I don't stray from the path!

Help me to be alert like Gideon's 300, stand firm like Shammah, be strong like Joshua, and take heart like Jesus! Let me consecrate my life to following You and You alone.

Dear Father I just pray that when I head back to school, You are there with me to strengthen my spirit and faith every minute! Even though I'm reluctant to leave for school, yet for Your sake I need to be there! Your glory will cover the earth!
