  2. Snow Leopard

From now on I will tell you of new things,
of hidden things unknown to you.
    -Isaiah 48:6-

    I
    Want
    The
    Anointing
    And
    The
    Mantle
    Of
    Miracles!

    GO READ THE DAILY UPDATE!!
Watched Lakeland Revival. Got hit by the Spirit many times. I can't believe Todd Bentley laid hand on 7000 people for 5 nights already! And he will lay hand on everyone for 5 more nights! I want to see the supernatural become natural!

    Things are also breaking out
    in Charlottle at Morning Star!!!!!!!

A vision Jeff Wong had for me during YOPP:
Johnny, I saw you as a snow leopard in a field of snow. A rabbit passes in front of you and you jump on it and bite it. The snow represents holiness. God is moving you into a season of holiness that will jump on people. You will impart holiness to those that don't even expect it.

Every week is full of awesomeness and challenges!
I so believe that this revival wave is coming to Cali!!!

    Johnny

ps. Just read Banning's letter about Jesus Culture conference this year. And this is why I'm so drawn into what Jesus Culture's doing. We have to EXACT same VISION!!! I feel like this is the train that we should hop on in some way. This is word for word from Banning:

Jesus Culture conferences are based on three things –
    encountering, equipping, sending.

Our number one passion is to bring a generation of revivalists into an encounter with God. The main sessions are about creating an atmosphere where youth and young adults can encounter God through extravagant and passionate worship, radical and raw preaching, and supernatural ministry. Also, we believe every believer is a minister in the Kingdom and therefore must be equipped for supernatural ministry. The workshops are geared toward equipping in the realm of the supernatural. We also began to recognize it wasn’t enough to simply equip this new breed of revivalists, but we must also give them an opportunity to experience what they are learning. So at each conference, we send everyone into the city to minister in prayer, power, and the prophetic. People in the city are healed, saved, and set free by those who go out into the city to demonstrate the love and power of God.

  3. A Heart Aching

    Tuesday, April 29, 2008
    By johnny
    67 years old.
    Francisco, the name.
    Wheelchair.
    Two calves cut off.
    Replaced with two artificial ones.

    Diabetes.
    Back pain.
    Cancer tumor removed.
    Alone on campus.
    Prayed for him.
    A Believer.

    "Where is your family?"

    "They are in Mexico."
    "Do you have any children?"
    "Yes."
    ...
    ...
    ...
    "What are their names?"
    ...
    ...
"This is out of the subject," he said to me.
(He basically meant "None of your business.")

I then knew something was wrong.
When I started to speak words of life and knowledge into him, he didn't respond to me at all. Something happened to his family, and that's why he's here in San Diego alone. Or maybe something happened to him. Lord knows it all.
    And as I was talking....

"Thank you," He said, and dashed off.

Watching him leave, my heart ached.

"God love you so much!" I said, "He really does!!"
    Broken for this man.

I've never felt like this before.
    Quite painful.
The heart of God pierced into my heart.
I can still feel the sorrow as I'm typing right now.
God! Would You bring restoration to Francisco!!!

    Enough of my spitting.
Nonetheless Lord did something in that man! I so believe that if he still has problems spiritually, he will still have problems physically.

Anyhow, I encourage EVERYONE to download Bill Johnson's message on the Right Context For Worship. You can't listen + watch this message without giving your 150% of your attention. It's a great message, and it's a message all of us need to hear. Right click to download this Video.

Had a good dinner with Robbie for the first time. Wahoo's Fish Taco in downtown La Jolla. Nice and healthy food. I like. I wish we could hang out longer, but I had to get to my studying for a CogSci midterm. Robbie's so chill right now cuz he's all done with school haha... good stuff Robbie.

    Johnny

ps. I met a guy up on the snake when I was praying. Joseph Liski, graduated this past summer, came and gave me some encouragement because he prayed on the snake too when he was a student here. Good guy.

  4. Another Plague Stopper

    Monday, April 28, 2008
    By johnny
Yes. Phinehas -- he's the grandson of Aaron, the crazy plague stopper in Numbers 16. And the anointing of priesthood is right there so clearly on this young man (I think he's young), it came so naturally upon Phinehas that he does not even need to have a face-to-face talk with the Lord like Moses and Aaron did. Moreover, 24,000 died -- comparing to Moses and Aaron's 14,700 in ch 16! I feel like this anointing is so rooted within him that he KNEW right away what to do in order to stop the plague. I just feel like this is something profound in the context of what I've been writing for the past couple days -- mantles passing down throughout the generation since Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

I want to be like Phinehas -- understood his authority and the given mantle, and just utilize his anointing right away! Three things Jack shard about Phinehas. 1) He sees. 2) He rises. 3) He acts. He didn't need to go have a cup of tea with the Lord to discuss whether he should do the same thing that his grandpa Aaron did -- standing in the gap between the living and the dead with incensed censer along with fire from the altar. I like how the mantle magnified over the generation because it's well utilized.

The movie Amazing Grace totally opened my eyes to the history of slavery, especially in England. Now I've heard of William Wilberforce, William Pitt, and John Newton (the writer of the hymn Amazing Grace). Wilberforce is a radical man who dedicated all his life to see the ending of slave trade come to pass. And surely he did after fighting for more than 40 years. I strongly suggest you to watch this movie that speaks about faith, hope, justice, and compassion. If God can use one person to shift the entire world's law on slave trade, why not the law of abortion? what about sex trafficking? how about child workers? If you have something burning inside and you want to change the world, go do it. God's running with you.

Eric and I were talking about dreams for a while, and I still don't quite get what the dreams I had a month ago really means. I hope I can get some interpretation when I head back to SD. Speach, I'm coming!!

Btw, Johnny's Book of Blab just came out. Blahh...

  5. Passover Fire!!!

    Sunday, April 27, 2008
    By johnny
    1. EXPELLED: No Intelligence Allowed
I think this movie is for every one -- atheists, Christians, Muslims, Jewish people, Scientists, Humanists, Housewives, Computer Engineers, Basketball players, Musicians, Waitresses... basically anyone who's breathing should watch the film. First of all: the film is in English. Ben Stein takes us to the core of the permanent argument between ID and Evolution: scientists from prestigious institutes are forced to resign due to their proposal of the possibility of Intelligent Design.

    2. Jairo: Man on wheelchair
It was totally God's set-up. We (10 of us) were just about to leave the theatre after watching Expelled. And right there by the exit was a man on a wheelchair. So I immediately went up to him and asked him what happened and all that stuff. He's around 50 years old I would suppose, and for 29 years his body is paralyzed from the waist down -- he had a car accident, and he's been on a wheelchair ever since. What's crazy is that he's from Venezuela and he's a believer of Jesus.
So 10 of us started to pray for God to heal him completely and he can stand up and walk perfectly. We prayed for him so many times, and my left leg was shaking so intensely while I was praying for him, and many of us were having some manifestation. Holy Spirit was totally there. We prayed for him for about 5 times, and after every time he would tell us that he could feel heat growing stronger in his back and on both of his legs. He even told us that he tried to stand up during our prayers, yet his legs weren't responding to his brain.
Anyhow, his wife told us that he really cannot feel anything below his waist, and tonight he did! We were all rejoicing. We told them what's happening in Lakeland, FL and actually suggested them to watch it online, or even to head over if possible. I felt like God's right there to heal him, it's just there's something that needs to be brought out from him. That couple's got humble and soft hearts; moreover, Jairo (the man) is right now working in the city of Glendale, helping those who are in the similar condition as himself!

    3. Fire in San Gabriel Valley!!!!!!!!!!!
Go read my blog yesterday. I feel like this is something prophetic. I wrote about a forest fire, and voila, San Gabriel mountain's on fire today! Lord, I don't think this is a coincidence cuz it would totally ruin the prophetic-ness and the coolness haha!

    4. READ ABOUT LAKELAND REVIVAL!!!!
Here's the link to the daily update (must read!!)
Here's the link to watch it live online (Mac & PC)
    5~8pm & 11pm~2am (replay)
A crazy word from Bob Jones about 12 places for Healing and Revival to Start and Mentioned: Fort Mill, NC & Kansas City, MI & Redding, CA are on the list too. I'm really excited to see what the Lord's doing this year in this country!

Peeps, I think it's time for us to go backwards and see the former revivals and read about how it started: with prayer and desperation and fasting. Let's do that, eh? Why not? God's setting fire upon San Gabriel Valley RIGHT NOW LITERALLY! I hope that we get a word from someone outside of LA about a fire here in SG Valley sometime soon during this wildfire. That'll be something awesome, Lord.

Love You Papa for what You've done.

  6. Drunk For The First Time

    Saturday, April 26, 2008
    By johnny
Still can't believe how I got totally messed up by the Spirit tonight. Jill Austin started to speak, and during the first 30 minutes, I could totally feel the fear of the Lord in this room. It was quite intense; moreover, Jill's cynical style added more wood on the fire. I forgot whether it's today or yesterday that I had a vision of cigarette buds in a forest. And I saw a man stomping on the buds that are still sparkling. However he missed one, and that one little spark caused the entire forest to burn -- a stronger fire than last year's SoCal wildfire.

The enemy is sucking us up like cigarettes -- suck us dry and quash us on the ground for death. It's totally God's grace that one bud was not comepletely out of flame. And that's enough for the Lord to start a forest fire.

There are just too many things to share -- being prophesied, prophesy over someone (with confirmation!), got drunk in the Spirit laughing, and loving Jesus. It was quite a wild day. Something in the spiritual realm was stirred up in San Diego, and that just might be the little spark of a consuming fire. One more day left. Lord would You come and visit the conference once again!

    Jesus, I want You more!!

  7. I'm A Plague Stopper

First night of Consecrate The State conference in San Diego. Go to JHOP website to read more about it. This conference, with Jill Austin and Banning, is all about burning before the Lord and take that impartation of setting the state of California on fire, especially SoCal. Tonight Banning talked about Numbers 16:41 -- Aaron was SANCTIFIED and SENT to STAND AT THE GAP BETWEEN THE LIVING AND THE DEAD! Some notes from Banning's message tonight:

God ALWAYS has an answer to the darkness.
    And revivalists are the answers.
The fire on the revivalists is the same fire on the Seraphim (Fiery creatures) over God's throne -- God's reproducing heaven on earth! The glory of God is rising and coming upon His people. Banning also mentioned that we NEED TO KNOW our forefathers, their revival stories, and God's promise for them. Revival started 2,000 years ago. We gotta go backward in order to go forward!

If the storm is in you, you cannot stop the storm.
Our authority over darkness is through holiness.
    (Luke 11:35, 1 John 1:5)
This is what Holiness looks like:
"I call you my sons and daughters, and you call me Dad."

Church today is living under the feeling of smallness and insignificance. We gotta be a VOICE and not an ECHO. A voice has an authority, but not an echo. We will lift up incense right in the core of the plague. God has an answer.

Then we broke into fervently for San Diego and Southern California. It was a wonderful night and how this little gathering of just 60 people shaking the heavens with our burning hearts for the Lord. He loves it when we just seek Him with everything we've got! Tomorrow's going to be pretty awesome, I can't wait!!!

    Arise, shine;
    For your light has come!
And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
    And deep darkness the people;
But the LORD will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
    -Isaiah 60:1~2-

    Johnny

ps. I said hi to Banning on behalf of Impact. He's totally cool and chill and lean back, amazed by our insane testimonies here at UCSD. I think we should invite him over to Impact sometime this year for a conference or something!

  8. Beautiful Bridegroom

    Thursday, April 24, 2008
    By johnny
Oh when God, You became a man
    You took on flesh
    You're so beautiful

I think I can just repeat this over and over again until He comes! Watching Justin Rizzo at Prayer Room. I also watched a bit of Todd Bently's Healing Revival in Florida. Man as I was watching it, I can totally feel the Holy Spirit right through the laptop screen. Get everyone to watch it--especially those who need healing!!!! There were almost 500,000 views online! Isn't that just crazy? How the Lord uses the advanced technology to release His healing power all over the world--through this little device called the Internet. Thank You Jesus! You are awesome!

Besides the fact that I totally flunked my math midterm after studying for 7 hours, it was a good day overall! I went to Speach's Dream Interpretation workshop thingy after the test, and we shared with each other our dreams and asked the Holy Spirit for interpretation. I'm expecting a really cool dream tonight from the Lord!! I don't know what it's going to be, but I believe that I will remember it tomorrow and write it down.

Last night at YOPP Gordon shared about one of our identities in Christ -- High Priests before the Lord. Something that hit me: we serve the Lord. It's not like God NEEDS us to serve Him, but HE'S A GOD WITH EMOTION, and His heart aches for this generation that's turning their faces away from Him and toward the world!!! So our priestly hood, the intercessions are calling back to the Lord -- serving Him and loving Him back. He is so eager to hear from us and to see our gazes. Who are we? Just thinking about it makes my heart to break. God, You are so beautiful. I want to set my gaze upon You. I love You, beautiful Bridegroom.

  9. 16:30? + REVIVAL!!!

    Wednesday, April 23, 2008
    By johnny
I may never know what it means, but I'll keep on asking the Lord. So I had a dream about a prayer house, and before I woke up, two numbers showed up: 16 & 30. I had the dream Friday night. I've searched through every chapter 16 verse 30, but I still don't know which one is the right verse the Lord wants to speak to me. Moreover, tonight when we were prayer during YOPP, I saw a picture of an analog clock and the time on it is 4:30. And right then I realize that it's 4:30pm which means 16:30! Oh well, I'll keep on wondering and asking the Lord for interpretation.

Today Victor and I prayed for many many people, and quite a lot of them are believers. We were all so encouraged even though there was no immediate healing. We were still groaning inside and contending for instant healing!

Had a good bible study with mister Jeff, we read Mark 10 and Matthew 9 about Bartimaeus, the blind man crying out for healing. Pretty neat stuff right there.

Watched God TV on Todd Bently in Florida: fire is spreading right now! There's a crazy revival meeting with lots and lots of healing, signs and wonders, and miracles. People getting healed even through just watching the meeting over TV and internet!! You gotta go check it out!!! It's LIVE from 4pm - 8pmPT (replay from 10pm - 2amPT). Go to GOD TV and under "Programming" click "Watch Now" and choose "Medium Streaming", High Streaming is only for members (you can register for free). Get those who are sick to watch it and pray for them! I was so in awe of God and what He's doing, and I just want more!!!! Read Testimonies Here!

  10. Good Monday

    Tuesday, April 22, 2008
    By johnny
Very sleepy right now. But God is good!

Got to school at 1pm, Jeff had to go straight to class so he let me drive his car back to the parking lot. Man, it took me about 45 minutes to find a space! It was quite a trip....

Prayed for this guy Brian. A Catholic believer. Shared with him Chad's testimony. Brian sprained his right ankle two weeks ago playing Frisbee. Prayed for him. He didn't really give it a try but he told me that he has been feeling better and all, and he's encouraged by my courage to walk up to a stranger and talk with them. I was encouraged and invited him to IV.

Met Sharon, the person in charge of InterPraise Christian Network on campus. IPCN is promised an office in the new student center expansion sometime soon in the future. Sharon wants to make this office into a Day & Night Prayer Room! And guess what? She went to FITN for 7 months and she knows Joy! That's pretty cool indeed! I was about to have a prayer meeting with Brian on the snake, and we saw Sharon. We all shared some amazing stories and testimonies and prayed and praised. God is so good.

Finally subscribed Prayer Room streaming. I so want to have this on every minute! Alright I'm going back to the prayer room now!

  11. Outdoor Sunday Service

    Monday, April 21, 2008
    By johnny
Some of us went to Burger King Saturday night for dinner during Onething LA. And we saw this African American gentleman walking abnormally with a cane. Right then I went up to him, and Jennifer came along. We got to pray for this man who's had so much stuff in his life. He didn't share much, but he told us that he got hit by a truck because he was actually crossing the freeway! However God saved him from death, and he has become more faithful in trusting Him. After we prayed for him, Eric, who came near while we were prayin, started to share words of encouragement and revelation to this man. We all felt that something got stirred up inside of him. God was right there moving hearts and shifting the atmosphere!

I was talking with Eric and my friend Matthias whom I met at Love Tent; he's at an internship here in Hollywood area for film. He really wants to bring God's presence into film industry and create films to bring glory to God and crush Hollywood and make it Holywood. I love that man. He's just totally amazing!

    Here's the crazy Sunday "service":
Alright. Today I went to Santa Anita Park with Edwin, Kevin (Chris' twin bro), Tiffa, Priscella, and Amy. We split up in 3 groups going different directions. As Amy and I started to walk around, there was a baseball game going on. I remembered that I wrote down "red hat (baseball cap)" before we depart for city invasion. And guess what? One of the team's color is red and white, and EVERY player was wearing a red baseball cap! I was excited yet confused. Who's the one then? Anyhow I went up to one of them and asked whether someone on their team was injured. He said no. As we were passing by the cage, I saw this guy wrapping bandage around his right pinky. He's a catcher and two weeks ago he dislocated his right picky (but that has nothing to do with being a catcher, fyi because he got it from a party). After I shared with him the testimony I had with Chad, he was amazed and willing to receive a prayer. I prayed for him speedily because the game was about to start.

We went on and saw an old grandma on wheelchair with a lady pushing her. They are originally from the Philippines, and they are Catholics. Grandma can walk a bit, but not really long distance because she has a pacemaker; moreover she has arthritis on both of her knees, and her right knee was hurting. So we prayed for her, and then after the prayer, she was like..."there's no pain!" ....and she started to move her leg and bend and stretch and bend and stretch.... with no pain at all! I was like....WWHAT!!! So I asked her to try and walk a little bit, and she did, with me holding her. It was just so encouraging because grandma really wanted to walk, however she really cannot because of her pacemaker. However the Lord took the pain away from her knee so that she can actually walk a little bit!

Then we got to pray for Lisa's brother Eddie who has a mild stroke and both of his kidneys have failed. So we got to pray for him, and we really believe that God's moving within him even though he could hardly understand any English. And then Lisa told us that her ankle's been hurting for the past week and would like us to pray for her! So we prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed (yes, 4 times we prayed), the pain was totally gone and she could move her feet comfortably and painlessly!

So I went back to the baseball field and got to actually put my hand on the injured right pinky of that catcher (did I mention his name's George?). I prayed for him and I gave him my contact info. He lives in San Gabriel, and I hope that he wil find a church that would become his home where he can start knowing Jesus in an intimate way.

This is what I call a local church!
    Tell me about Sunday Service!
I want to be like a tree!!!!!
I believe by the end of this year we will see deaf people hear and blind people see again!
    God is Good!

  12. OneThing I Desire

    Sunday, April 20, 2008
    By johnny
Set me as a seal upon your heart,
    As a seal upon your arm;
For love is as strong as death,
    Jealousy as cruel as the grave;
Its flames are flames of fire,
    A most vehement flame.
    Many waters cannot quench love,
Nor can the floods drown it.
    -SoS 8:6~7-

I've got connected with so many people at onething during the past two days. I'm just so grateful for all these zealous missionaries who are dedicating their lives serving others through preaching, praying, or worship leading. Los Angeles was truly blessed this past weekend. I want to see a revival that births out from this city, a revival that's far greater than Azusa Street Revival 102 years ago. The revival baton of LA, passed down by the African Americans, is now in the hands of the Asian Americans.

Just wanna list out some names:
    Matthias
    James
    Tony
    Luke
    Tim
    Justin
    Candace
    Sydney
    Jaeson

What was crazy during this conference was that I started to speak in new tongues! Actually 2 new tongues. And one of them just came out like BLABLAHBLABAHLBHALDSHLHB,..... MQ was actually standing next to me and she thought I was speaking in Chinese with her, but actually I was speaknig in tongue that sounded like an asian language! I was so surprised too! Man, loving Christ is the best thing in the world. I wouldn't trade anything for that.

And watching Luke play the piano is just an honor and joy. Lord I want that anointing!!!! I'm still overwhelmed by the worship tonight. It was simply beautiful.

  13. Fire in My Bones

    Saturday, April 19, 2008
    By johnny
This entry is for all my awesome friends and family in the Lord in the small town of San Diego--JHOP & YOPP.

Then I said, “I will not make mention of Him,
Nor speak anymore in His name.”
But His word was in my heart like a burning fire
    Shut up in my bones;
I was weary of holding it back,
    And I could not.
    -Jeremiah 20:9-

The truth is that we cannot hold back when the Lord is pouring out His Spirit upon us. It's like our entire beings are under His control. I'm contending for this reality. The reality of prayer and fasting on college and high school campuses along with continuous day & night prayer and worship. Moreover, the Word of God will be taught and confessed in every classroom because it is shut up in our bones.

Eddie, I get it now. After tonight's madness, the dream of Joel 2 + Acts 2 has become real to me. I'm with you. I'll be your armor bearer, saying, "do whatever's on your heart, I'm with you." My heart was aching and I could stop from crying when Lou and Jaeson started to talk about the sins of our fathers and mothers. And yet again the sins of abortion hit me hard over and over again.

I just wanna say I'm there with y'all--soul, mind, body, strength. And you guys are my intimate family at UCSD. Knowing y'all is a privilege and honor. I believe the days of the reward of the Lord is ahead as we are contending for a revolution through prayer and fasting. 2 people were saved on Wednesday at UC Riverside just by the sharing of Gospel. But I keep on wondering, what about UCSD?

I don't think we'll ever be prepared for a huge revival, but hey, we're going after it wholeheartedly and contending for the reality of Joel 2 & Acts 2 once again to fall upon UC San Diego.

Today at around 11am I was out there on Library walk with Victor and John and Brian Cheung. Brian and I were holding a sign that says WHAT IS YOUR DEFINITION OF LOVE (yup, Eddie, that totally came from the other day at PC!). I was so in awe because out of the 30+ people who responded to the question, almost half of them could not give us a definite answer. It was a great time seeing those who passed by confused by this question. The question totally got them thinking!

I can't tell you how much I love you all! The New Jesus Movement is going to be milestone to something huge! Go turn San Diego upside down!

  14. 3 Hours

    Friday, April 18, 2008
    By johnny
That how much I've slept for the past 30+ hours.
I still can't sleep cuz I've got a math quiz waiting!

Prayed for 3 people on crutches.
No immediate healing, but I believe God's hands are upon their ankles and knees. I passed out some EXPELLED flyers in my writing class. I hope many will go watch it and be shaken!

    Ready for this?
I saw a girl walking with the guiding stick (or whatever u call that). I was like....alright I'm just going to go up and ask her whether I can go pray for her. Wouldn't it be so cool if the blind people receive sight after a prayer? So I went up, totally awkwarded out(that's totally not a word), so I was like, "Um....alright I'm just gonna say it. Can I pray for you?"
I realized that she's partially blind and she looked at me and kindly rejected my prayer, "you can pray for me privately."

Oh well, I gave it a try! Later on I realized that Jon, Victor, and Maritha have all asked her the same questions before, and Jon actually prayed for her even though the Lord did not heal her physically, she believes that God's using this to glorify Himself.

I will show you what he is like who comes to me and hears my words and puts them into practice.
He is like a man building a house, who dug down deep and laid the foundation on rock. When a flood came, the torrent struck that house but could not shake it, because it was well built.
    -Luke 6:47~48-

God, I'm not gonna give up!!!!

    Johnny

ps. I got to prayer room at around 6:30, so I planned to take a 30 minute nap since I didn't sleep at all and I was all over campus. And the next thing I knew, prayer room was over and Grace, Jon, and Brian woke me up @ 9:30! What better place can you sleep than in God's presence? =)

    Thursday, April 17, 2008
    By johnny
I guess I'm a bit refreshed, after going to Large Group.
Man. Every time. EVERY TIME I praise the Lord, my heart becomes burden-less and light. And now it's time when I start writing my paper without any burden in my heart, because I know that I'll do just fine!

    Lord is gracious
    and slow to anger
    and rich in love
    He is good to all

Alright. time to get back to my 4~5 page paper!
I certainly hope that I can sleep!

Jesus, all I am is Yours!

ps. Listening to Luke Hendrickson's piece Imagine. I feel so pumped up right now! I'm in a warzone!!!

  16. What's Going On?

    Wednesday, April 16, 2008
    By johnny
Fast and Pray until He pour out His Spirit?
I feel like God's leading me into Canaan.
    Through the wilderness.
There's no fun if He took me, in a matter of seconds, straight to Canaan.

It's like watching the first and the sixth installation of Star Wars movie and skipping the middle parts...

or playing a brand new game using cheats....

or fast forwarding a piece of music that's never been heard before...

or having dessert right after soup and salad, leaving out the medium-rare filet mignon (maybe Enoch would like that)...

or reading just the first and last paragraph of my blog entries (you know what I'm saying)...

What we believe about the end has everything to do with how we behave in the middle.
    - Kris Vollotton, his
    blog entry about End Times

I listened to our worship on 4/6 again. It's a new day of a new season. It feels like I'm entering into a season of supernatural, but still in the wilderness every now and then. I don't know. I'm just going to seek His face and follow Him. At YOPP tonight, Eddie prayed for me, saying that I'm one of David's mighty men, going to the well and fulfill what I'm called to do. Micah also prayed for me and God sang a love song to me through Micah. He told me that he's protecting me and loving me for what I'm doing right now; he told me not to grow weary and give up. He loves me.

And that's really all I needed to hear for the night.

And I guess that's all I'm going to share.

Let me go write a poem or something.

    I've got a paper due Thursday....urrr....

Remember to download Bill Johnson's message.
It's in my book of psalms(link on the right)!

    God, I want You more.
    Thank You Jesus!

  17. I'd Say It Was A Good Day

    Tuesday, April 15, 2008
    By johnny
First of all, Sunday worship is up for download
on the book of psalms site!

**Secondly, PLEASE, PLLLLLLEASE leave a comment in the blog yesterday regarding to the worship this past Sunday. I want to know what you think and how you feel. Just a mere discussion.

    Today was pretty interesting.
Had a prayer meeting with Brian and Jon. It was great, but I was really tired so I kinda fell asleep for a while. We also prayed for this guy whom Jon & Victor are hanging out and pouring their hearts upon. And we also pray for Jeff too!

Went to a decent discussion class.
Went to a alright lecture. The speaker Carmin Karasic is a digital artist who does art through internet. Check out her work under webart on her website.

Spent 2 hours working on a music project with my classmate Kenny, who plays guitar and wants to do something in music too. He's a real cool dude. So basically we have to do a 1-minute sound clip that includes some social elements. So we decided to do the "evolution" of phones: starting from traditional telephone rings to Motorola cellphone ringtones, and finally to iPhone. I think it's pretty interesting. I'll post it for download later this week.

As I was walking back to Revelle, I kept on asking God what is it that He's letting me understand? And in what way He's communicating with me?
And I just kept on saying this aloud over and over:
"You kingdom come, You will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. You kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven......" I'm going to meditate on this more. I believe God's trying to tell me something more from this verse.

Came back and listened to Bill Johnson's sermon -- Recognizing His Voice. I gotta listen to it again tomorrow. It really gets me thinking about our attitude toward the supernatural and how there are voices that are pretending as the voice of God. I typed out some notes from the sermon and I totally encourage you to listen to it. I've received a lot from Bill's message regarding to me question about worship yesterday. If you have an hour, I STRONGLY ENCOURAGE EVERYONE to download and listen to it. You gotta listen hard cuz it's Bill, ya know what I'm sayin'. Totally deep yet simple stuff. Go download it on my book of psalms!

Praise the Lord AT ALL TIMES!
    It's hard, yet I'm trying!

    Johnny

ps. I started chatting with Jeff Wong, thinking that he's Jeff Kuo for a sec lol.... however it wasn't an accident because Jeff received a vision for me during our chat! I'm not gonna say what it is, but we'll see =)

  18. Realm of the Supernatural + Worship Reflection

    Monday, April 14, 2008
    By johnny

I found this discussion board in facebook under Expelled group. If you don't know what Expelled is, go click on the picture right there or the links under Mighty Sites. Watch the trailer at least.

Let me retype what this guy, "Preston Maness" typed.:
There IS absolutely no evidence for ID(Intelligent Design), because it's entire premise lies within the realm of the supernatural.

When I read it, I was like.....WWWWWWHHHHATTTT! That guy has NO IDEA what he's saying, but he said it all! I showed it to Eric and Joy, and we were amazed. Indeed, if God's mind is as small as ours(and if we averagely use only 4% of our brain over a lifetime), then I'd deny the existence of a Deity, or Jesus Christ.

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways," declares the LORD.
"As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.
As the rain and the snow come down from heaven,
and do not return to it without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower
    and bread for the eater..."
    -Isaiah 55:8~10-

From Exodus to Hebrews, the word "miracle" appears 42 times. I would say God is a consistent God, because throughout the 2~3,000 year from Moses to Paul, miracles only increased, and there's no sign of lessening. In this new season, I'm expecting more signs, wonders and miracles in my daily walk with the Lord. Whether is to lead someone to Christ or to heal the sick, I want to prepare my heart for the coming favors and blessings. God I don't think I can ever figure You out! You are so tangible yet You have so much yet to be discovered by us! I want to know You from the inside out just like You know me from the inside out. Let's be good buddies.

    ***************Topic Change......

    WORSHIP REFLECTION
For real, I don't know what God was saying today during worship. Nevertheless I felt the presence of the Lord throughout the time. Just now I was reading Mark's facebook message to us for today over and over again. And I kept on asking the Lord, "What is it that I could have done better to let You take control?" I felt like the worship could have gone even deeper, but the next thing I knew, it was 2:45pm already and we had to wrap it up! Sarah felt the same way too, and I bet RJ felt the same way too. I'm not saying today's worship was not good, I'm just saying that it wasn't satisfying. Is it because we've raised our bar way too high and tried to run while we're still learning how to walk? I really don't know. Or maybe I was just like Peter, being arrogant in leading worship. Lord I come before You and ask Your blood to cover me and wash me over if there's anything I've done today that totally missed Your mark. I really wanted You, and that's it. Thank You Jesus for visiting us and serving us at all times. Thank You Jesus. You are so sweet.

    --------------------------------
    Here's Mark's message:
    Dear Impact family

How about a few thoughts for tomorrow’s gathering?

First, I am very pleased and proud of your heightened awareness of Jesus’ love, presence and activity in your lives. Your hunger for more and experiences in the super-natural realm are all very exciting and stimulating. I truly believe heaven loves to watch us explore in the realm for which we were created – the spiritual realm.

Your reports of feathers, gem stones, healings and increased faith are truly amazing and inspiring to Debbie and me.

Let’s review how we got there: We simplified down to a “childlike” level of loving on Jesus. He is so beautiful and wonderful and loves to interact with us in times of intimacy. We worshiped “out of the box” and into simple heart devotion. We GENTLY told Him how much we loved Him. We lingered until our hearts could settle down and begin to respond to Him.

For some, we stepped into our giftings of prophetic: singing seeing, speaking out what God was giving us. This not only exercised our giftings but caused “fresh inspiration” to arise. That’s how it works – fresh water enters into the well that gives away.

So for tomorrow, you’ll have to find your own way of doing it – but stay simple and childlike, make it all about Jesus, tell what He’s done and give Him LOTS of thanks and true worship and adoration.

    He will visit again!

We are SO VERY proud of you and love to hear of your enthusiasm and testimonies. Keep ‘em coming.

    Lotsa love to all

    Mark and Debbie
    --------------------------------

**Hey, throw in some comments. Cuz I really don't know. I want to hear and know how y'all think about today's worship. Please be specific if you can and not just type "it was good!" Share with me pictures, visions, or words that you received today during worship, if there's any. Or share with me how You didn't feel His presence today! I don't want this blog to be just about me, cuz that's not what book of acts is about. It's about the acts of the DISCIPLES: you and I. If you don't usually leave message, please consider to leave one here. I'd really appreciate it!

God is good at all times! Let us set our eyes upon Him because we have totally ravished His heart. Be a child of God.

  21. Blaze + JHOP SD

    Thursday, April 10, 2008
    By johnny

So I called Blaze(actually his name is spelled Blaise) at 5pm and he said that the pain has been lessened but his ankle still sores a bit. So I offered him another prayer over the phone. He still felt the same after the prayer but I told him what happened to Chad, the guy whom I prayed for yesterday:

He left me a message telling me that he really appreciated my prayer and how he still needs a cast for his broken ankle because he's getting nailed up on his ankle in a couple days. "But there is no pain at all after you prayed for me!" He said. God's nature is to love, and healing is definitely part of His unconditional love!

Lord I pray over Blaise's right ankle that You would heal him speedily that he would be healed in even just a week and he doesn't need to put on the brace for 6 more weeks! Pour down Your love upon Blaise!

For the first time I was at JHOP San Diego! It was a house with a crazy garden: goats, chicken, fruits, veggies, coyotes, hens, and dogs! It's nothing like a HOP that I would ever imagine: it's awesome! I want to be a gardener! Anyhow, Eddie, Gordon, Maritha, Jon, Grace, and I had a great meeting/talk about YOPP and Day & Night Prayer. Our hearts are all burning for a prayer furnace to birth out in San Diego. We had a 3 hour talk! It was really awesome and the Lord was really there to help us in our exchanges of visions and ideas and opinoins and comments and LOVE. Thank You Jesus. After all You're all we need.

    Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord;
no deeds can compare with Yours.
    -Psalm 86:8-

    Johnny

ps. I'm listening to this past Sunday's worship. I'm still in awe of what the Holy Spirit did! I'll put this online for y'all to download! Over an hour of worshiping in spirit and in truth. I love spontaneous worship.

  22. 4 More Things

    Wednesday, April 9, 2008
    By johnny
    If you haven't done so,
Go Read My Last Entry Before Reading This One!

    HALLELUJAH!

    Four things.

    1. Library Walk:

    1) Talked to a girl from Taiwan. She came here for her master in BioEngineer 1.5 years ago. Gordon was preaching Love today and he saw that girl and asked me to go talk to her. I found out that she's from Taiwan so I started to talk to her about Jesus in Mandarin! I basically told her that Jesus loves her and desires a intimate relationship with her. Even though she seemed a little be scared by me(I hope not), I knew that she was listening to what I was saying in my poor poor Mandarin lol. Thank You Lord.

    2) Then I saw a man listening to Gordon/Eddie. He walked away for a couple steps and turned back and listen again, and again, and again. I was like....I GOTTA GO TALK TO HIM! Then he started to leave, so I was like...well, I guess today's not the day we meet. So I looked back, and I saw Grace giving me the face of "GO TALK TO HIM!!". So I was like.... uh..... rrrreh.... hmm.. alright I'll just do it. So I stalked him and trying to catch up to him. Finally we started to talk.
"That's some intense message," I said.
"I don't really understand everything. I don't really speak English. I just came here last week."
    "Where do you come from?"
"I come from China, Shen Yang"
So ONCE AGAIN I started to talk in Mandarin with this 40+ year old teacher who came here for a degree in education and to learn more English. So I basically told him about what we're preaching about: God is Love. And of course we had to pull out the politics between China and Taiwan and whatsoever, but he wasn't a very extreme communist or what not. I told him that I don't care about politics, I care about Love.
    "耶穌愛你--Jesus Loves You"
Guess what? He and other 30 teachers from China are helped by these Chinese speaking Christians to get settled in since they just came a week and half ago! And he really agree on the love thing I was talking about. He said that he's planning to go to church with those friends this coming Sunday!!! Praise the Lord! I gave him my contact and I hope that he'll call me up sometime. Bless that man, Lord. As I was sharing this at YOPP, everyone was like, "dude that's awesome that you shared Gospel in Mandarin with 2 people in the same day! Go preach in Chinese dude!" Ha. Maybe it's a sign from the Lord. However, I want to use whatever way I can to share the Gospel, even with my half-broken Chinese! Thanks Jesus!

    3) Saw a group of perspective students with a tourguide right in front of us. A high school boy was on a wheelchair. I was like....I gotta grab someone with me. So I literally grabbed Victor, who was next to me, to go and pray for that boy. We tried to blend in as a part of the tourists (it was pretty funny), and we waited for the tourguide to finish and the group started moving. That boy's name is Juan (just like mine: John!). He had a tumor scraped off on his right thigh so he can't really do much walking or whatnot for five weeks. So he let me pray for him while Victor pushing him (haha, Victor you're so awesome!). He said he knows Jesus and he can actually walk, it's just he can't do sports. So I told him that when he goes back home he can try and do some sport and see whether his right leg got totally recovered! Victor was really encouraged and so was I!

    4) And then one of our great friend and brother Eric came over, still on his crutches. So I was just about to head to class, and I walked with him and prayed for him a little. I think I wrote it down last Thursday that his feet started to hurt, however it has got a lot better today. He still use the crutches because he still can't walk very fast. Then we walked separate ways.

And then the CRAZY ANKLE HEALING of my last entry!

    2. YOPP -- Pictures
This is what I saw tonight during YOPP.
    1) An arrow pointing upward. But there's an "X" right in front of it. So I was like, "Lord, what does it mean? Why is there an "X" sign? And suddenly the two strokes of the word "X" turned into something else. A stroke is a shovel, and another, a syringe/injector. And suddenly it clicked. The shovel represents man's work, and the syringe represents science and medication--BOTH CAN'T LEAD TO THE TRUTH. And then I see the Cross right next to it--it is through the Cross and the blood of the Lamb that we can enter His Kingdom. Universities are trying so hard through research and science and medicine to explain TRUTH, but they can't unless through the Cross. Thank You Lord for this picture.

    2) A red leaf falling, and on the surface, burning fire.
However, the leaf is not consumed.
Micah, the crazy dude who has been doing signs and wonders on SDSU campus, said that it's like Moses and the burning bush: burning yet not consumed. It's the Holy Spirit: burning our heart but doesn't fade.

    3. YOPP -- Prophetic Words
    1) Gordon just saw a huge wave at the place where I was sitting. He got so pumped and he was like, I don't know what's gonna happen, but maybe you're a wave, Johnny. Holy Spirit's the wave!

    2) A POWERFUL ONE: Lord has given me some good words through Speach. He told me that bad stuff has happened and many bad stuff will happen in my life that would make me think, "God, why is this happening". And I would turn to God and seek for healing during the events; moreover, I would use my healing to heal others and carry it for the rest of my life.
I started to share with Speach about how my faith has strengthened through the death of my aunt, and how my dad's heart got stirred up because of my little faith. I'm looking forward to my life. Lord, I don't know whether my heart is steadfast, but it's all Yours.

    4. YOPP -- More Healing

    1) Jeff Wong said he's got a back pain right then. And it always bothers him when he wakes up. So we all gathered around him and prayed for healing. After the first prayer, he said it felt so much batter but it still hurt a little. So we were like, "we're praying again!" So after the second prayer, he said, "the pain's almost gone!" So we prayed AGAIN, and surely God healed him completely right there! "It doesn't hurt anymore!" He was bending down like crazy hahaha! He was all excited and so were we!

    2) As we were leaving, I heard Helena, a 2nd year who just joined us a couple weeks ago, coughing. So I prayed for her. A real short prayer. so we were all walking down the stairs and we ended up talking right in front of York Hall. As I was talking to Gordon, Helena suddenly came to me and said that, "the itchiness in the throat was completely gone now! It was still there after you prayed for me, but it's gone now!!!" I was like....WWWWHAT!!!!

    *********
Lord, that's really a lot of testimonies! I love what You've been doing--expand and enlarge my identity, authority, and territory. This school's going to be rocked upside down because more and more people got touched by You, Jesus!

Who are these that turn the world upside down!?!??! :-)

-Acts 17:6- (NKJV, Modified a bit by Mark Hendrickson!)

So much, I can't contain it!
Tell me this is not a new season!

    Johnny

ps. Pray for my school work! I've got some reading to do and paper to write and projects to do and books to buy and all the stuff. I was still worrying about them this morning, but God took over my day. So I'm all good and cheerful now!

pps. Jeff Shin-Te Kuo is cool. Just wanna point that out. There, Jeff, now you're in my entry. You happy now? haha.

  23. Healing!

    Tuesday, April 8, 2008
    By johnny
At around 2pm just now God healed a guy named Chad!

I was walking to class, and right before I reached the door I saw this guy on two crutches with his right ankle messed up. He broke his ankle (yes, broke) this past Friday. And I told him that God wants to heal him and whether I could pray for him. He said alright. So I laid my hand on his right ankle and pray for the ankle to be aligned to heaven and to be formed back to the condition that he's created for. In Jesus' name. It was about a 30 second prayer. And I asked him to give it a try.

Then he started to try walking and put weight on his right foot. He was like...woah it feels a lot better and it still hurts when I lean forward. So I was really excited and asked him whether I can pray for him again. And he was like, "yeah totally." And after another short prayer, he started to walk and I held his crutches and encouraged him to walk without them, and guess what?

    His ankle doesn't hurt anymore!
Broken ankle got healed right there!
He's going back to check up and have a cast put-on tmr, and I told him that God's healed him and he'll be fine tomorrow.

He's a Christian who's heard many stories about healing and he's never thought that it would happen on him! "I don't know who should be more surprised," he told me in excitement!

I got his number and we'll see what happens tomorrow!
    God's here on campus!
A new season! A new day!
    Come on!!!!!!

  24. Gardeners Going Home

Last night Jeff drove me and his friend Ray back to UCSD. So I shared Jesus with him and all the good stuff, and he found it interesting because he hasn't really looked into any belief. He's never been to a church service and have anyone shared with him the Gospel. He is from Shen Yang providence and he came over to the US when he was 7. A really great and chill dude. Lord I pray that the seed planted inside of Ray will start to grow. Thank You Lord for a great talk. I look forward to chat with him again.

Had a really dry Computing in Art class. I sat in the first row. No lights or whatsoever--just this HUGE powerpoint presentation....so bright. And I had to tilt my head quite high to see everything, especially when there are millions of words on that slide, especially I didn't have any breakfast or lunch, just some cereal.

Anyhow, I've got a good ol' LONG week ahead of me. Please keep my physical and spiritual health in you prayers. I've been feeling really tired overall today.

Listening to Mark singing right now. God's peace just starting to flow within me. I don't know about you, but sometimes when I just listen to Mark speak or pray or say a verse, tears would just fill my eyes.

Deuteronomy 11 is a great chapter.
    And so is Jeremiah 31.
Go check it out and read them through!

I will send rain on your land in its season, both autumn and spring rains, so that you may gather in your grain, new wine and oil. I will provide grass in the fields for your cattle, and you will eat and be satisfied.
    -Deuteronomy 11:14~15-

    They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion;
they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord--
the grain, the new wine and the oil,
the young of the flocks and herds.
They will be like a will-watered garden,
and they will sorrow no more.
    -Jeremiah 31:12-

Right on the top of Jer. 31 I wrote:
    "About the Coming Days"
Is this prophetic? I don't know. But it's cool that I wrote it sometime before, probably in December! And this past weekend was the dawn of the coming days!

And in NLV, this chapter is called Israel Returns Home.
Just want to throw that out. Pretty cool stuff. We are returning to the Garden of Eden. Our very first home. Back to the garden that bears new fruits in the new season--and walk with the Lord and hear His voice as clear as He hears ours.

I love this word: NEW. It means "not existing before" or "not seen or experienced". We have entered into a new dimension of God's goodness, favor, and works! I believe in the next three or four months, we'll be shaped to inhabit yet another big chunk of His kingdom!

    I'm pumped, and tired too!
    Mainly pumped.

  25. Feather, Stone, and New Day

    Monday, April 7, 2008
    By johnny
Like I shared earlier today about how I found a little feather right on the floor of my bedroom floor. At first I thought it's a part of my socks, ya know. But after comparing them and thinking about it, it's definitely not from my socks or any of my clothing. Yup. An angel was right there in my room! I feel really peaceful when I entered, I mean mainly because I had a great time with the Spirit just the moment before.

Today's worship was yet again ________.
I cannot even describe it with any word, so I'm leaving it blank. I was just telling RadJam during practice that we were just going to do Stir Up The Flame and O Taste And See, and then we'll let the Spirit lead us! I actually said, "it would be just so cool if the Holy Spirit would just take over again that we don't even have to rehearse!" I was expecting an outpour since yesterday and surely He took over! It was so beautiful. I really didn't know what the Holy Spirit is going to do, but I knew it right away that we were not singing any of the picked songs when I started to play on the keys. Something was different. Totally unexpected. The playing part was more of creating a soothing and calming atmosphere and prepare the hearts to worship. When we started to sing and flow with the Spirit, inside of me was like, "YYYYYYYES!!! Holy Spirit's taking over! We don't have to follow any structured songs; we just have to follow Him!" I was full of joy because the presence of the Lord was so gentle and beautiful and He was moving and molding the hearts.

One of the longest and the best Sunday services of my life.
We've got well over 20 testimonies shared.
For 4 hours, Countless drops of tears.
I love tears; they are windows to the heart and the core.

And, of course---Feathers, visions, pictures, dreams, healing, heavenly sounds, breakthroughs, more feathers, visions, pictures, dreams, healing, heavenly sounds, and breakthroughs.....

    It's a new season. It's a new day.

So many confirmations--at least 5 I'd say--about new season, new day, new fruits. I believe this conference has marked the beginning of the new season we are heading into. A season of supernatural expectation. A season of shell breaking and wings flapping and soon soaring. I just want to go deeper into this stuff. I was reading Ezekiel 34(and actually posted the verse in "What's Your Calling?" post just this past Tuesday!), and these two verses caught my eyes:

I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing (this is the part that caught my eyes about the coming of a new season). Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit (new season bears new fruit, of course. I think each one of us will bear fruits and we will also bear fruits together as a church.), and the earth shall yield her increase. They shall be safe in their land (I remembered Mark said how we are carefully protected by the Lord from "churchianity" and we are innocent and pure); and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke and delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them.
    -Ezekiel 34:26~27-

So I found a little black stone-y thingy on the ground somewhere close to the keyboard cases and the equipment boxes. I was like.....WWWWWOAH what's this?? It was black, but when I examined it closely, I found out that when I turn the little rock, I see some relection of metal-y thing. So I set it on my music stand. And then I got the text from Sarah at around 10pm that Amy found 7 little stones right in front of her after praying! And they found 6 feathers IN THEIR HOUSE! That's totally amazing!

Alright, that's enough of today. I'm really excited to see how much God will do in our lives--by simply showing up through angelic encounters or just one-on-one heartfelt touch. Anything Lord. I just want to see You more, know You more, and love You more.

RadJam: I love you all. And it's so good to have Holy Spirit take over, ain't it? We've been longing for a breakthrough in worship and I believe this is the dawn of a new worship. We've never done anything close to what we did this afternoon, and I expect it to happen much often in the future! Of course we still need to come to practice Saturdays and Sundays haha! I'm not saying that this should be the way to do worship, I'm just, as a member of RadJam and a worship leader, so overwhelmed by what happened today and how TOGETHER we were because the entire congregation was with us together--united in the Holy Spirit. I feel like that's what we're going after with our worship more and more. Lord would You keep on showing us more things that's never heard of. We're going after You and You alone. Only Your presence and bring down an outpour and a breakthrough.

New wine + New Wineskin = ?Unknown?

    I'm pumped. Aren't you?
    Vacuum before you pray and worship;
    Look for treasures from heaven!

  26. Messed Up

    Sunday, April 6, 2008

On the way driving back to my home, at around 1am I believe so, I turned off the music and asked God for more. And He sure did. I started to tear up and tell Him how much I love Him. And then the next thing I knew was that I had some trouble seeing the road because of the tears. Jesus I love Your presence. I actually passed home but I wanted more. So I drove for another two or three miles and just cry before the Lord like a baby would. I really can't thank Him enough because He's done way too many things for me even before I entered this world: how I was born and how I was weak, and tonight my left arm and leg were both feeling weird and aching unusually. Then I started to flex my left hand--first a fist, then release, and so on....for about fifteen minutes. My muscles were hurting but I couldn't really stop the hand from flexing. It was really frustrating for a while. I kept on asking God, "why am I doing this? please tell me why, Lord. It hurts."

    Then He said to me,
"Your hands used to sin against me, but through my blood they are made clean. And I will use them for my glory."

Basically he's telling me Isaiah 61:
To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
    -Isaiah 61:3-

Many time I really do think how dirty my hands are and how I'm using the same hands that sinned to play notes, to worship Him. I mean the chains were broken a while ago, but I am still being haunted, in a way, by my former sins I guess. And tonight God freed me from another bondage of not to linger on the sins that are already washed away therefore to block me from going deeper with the Spirit.
Yeah so the Lord tenderized my heart even more and I asked Him to do that on a regular basis, hopefully every day. I love to cry before the Lord and get totally messed up by His overwhelming presence.

    Totally amazing.
Annie, when you earn lots of money, you can also rent TWIN PALMS and open it up for free to the public and invite all the amazing worship leaders to come and do some fill-in gigs from all over the world, and serve first-class food such as coconut shrimp nad lamb chops! I'm dreaming for you already!

Not gonna say much but to say how blessed Impact is to have known Mark and Debbie and how they have got us connected with so many people from all over the world doing amazing works for the Lord! I can't wait for this weekend. I know it's going to be something spectacular and God's going to do something new and craaaaaazy!

    People get ready!

  29. Back to the Basic

Love your God with all your
    heart-soul-mind-strength

    Love your neighbors
    as yourself

Today was a hard day for me.

    7 hours of classes....eek.

As I was walking to class, I asked God,

"What should I do here on campus?"
And all He answered me was, "Be my messenger."
"I understand, but how can I
    use my calling
    to spread Your Gospel?"
    Then He didn't say anything.

    After 7 hours of craziness,

I watched 4 episodes of Simpsons.

    I just wanted to relax.
I didn't turn to the Lord during that hour of
    free time.
Anyhow, I wanted to go to IV Large Group.
Before that I was over the phone with Annie,

hoping to figure out the song list in a loud environment.

It was quite frustrating on both sides.
Ended that call, felt really weird and all.

Finally plugged in my headphone and

listened to Came To My Rescue on my way to IV.

I just wanted to worship Him, so I did.

Lifted up my hands, couldn't even sing.

He is just so good at taking my burden away.

Tearing up so many times during worship.

This song always brings tears to my eyes.
It's sung in 4 different languages:

I love You, Love You, Love You, My Lord Jesus

I love You, Love You, Love You, Jesus

    我愛祢, 我愛祢, 愛祢, 我主耶穌

    我愛祢, 我愛祢, 愛祢, 耶穌

Te amo, Te amo, Te amo, Mi Cristo Jesus

Te amo, Te amo, Te amo, Jesus

Saranghaeyo, Saranghaeyo, Saranghaeyo, Mon Cho Jesu

    Saranghaeyo, Saranghaeyo, Saranghaeyo, Jesu

And the Lord gave me the word LOVE.
He reminded me WHY we're doing what we're doing

and what attitude we should have for the conference.

Music is one thing, but Love is everything.
I'd give up playing and singing for the Lord

    if there is no Love.

God reminded me of what Jack said to the cores

before we headed to Las Vegas.
And tears started to well up in my eyes again.

And then after the sharing, IV did the Lifehouse skit.

    Tears welled up again.

And the song Child of God hit right into my heart.
It such a beautiful song. I want to sing it at Impact.
I couldn't stop crying before Him and tell Him I
    'm sorry
that I haven't been loving Him back a lot today
especially today was really crazy academic wise.

I went down to have someone pray for me.

This guy's real cool and I told him about what I felt
and through his prayer the Lord gave me
    peace
and joy and more strength. And, of course, Love.

And then I prayed for that cool guy.
He told me that he's still struggling with

many things in the world: hatred and lust mainly.

I shared with him how the Lord delivered me
    from
the chain of lust back in November,

so I prayed for this guy who wants to
    serve the Lord
with guitar playing and praying for people.
Lord I pray for spirit of boldness and confidence

to fall upon my brother right now.
    I ask that You would
    protect him from attacks
    and temptations and
    lead him from the wilderness
    into the land
    of milk and honey.

Just one more day until the conference.

We gotta pray for love, peeps.

At least that's what the Lord put in my heart tonight.

And now I will show you the

    most excellent way
    .

    -1 Cor 12:31-

    Go check out that scripture.
Love HAS TO BE the foundation of our actions.

    Let's serve because of love.

I don't care about music as much as I care about love.

Now I understand why. He answered me.

    Father You're all I need
    My soul sufficiency.

    Johnny

ps. I remembered why I do what I do. I love UCSD.

blind eyes open you only live once.
open your eyes.
His love never fails. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
