1. JUSTIN's Out of the Wheelchair & Cast!

    Thursday, January 29, 2009
    By johnny
    Justin is simply dazzling!
My heart is stirred by the joy that radiates from his head to his toes!
I'm shouting HALLELUJAH like never before!

Get ready, something huge is coming our way.... and I believe this testimony is just the beginning of many in the near future! I was sharing this with Brian Orme, leader of Origins fellowship, and he reminded me of the prayer he released over me that God would restore 7-fold of what the enemy stole from me (my high school friend Jesse Lopata, 18, who died of cancer 4 weeks ago).

Below it's an email from Justin's mother, Angela.

    Dear Pastor Jack,

Thank you for your prayer. Justin is doing very good. He took off the cast on Tuesday. He is very happy. He knows God answer our praying. Justin needs to took X-ray every months to check his left hip (the bone was very thin and fracture caused by a tumor).

The first two month all X-rays shows "not worse" "no change", Dr. could not say "better" to Justin. Even the Dr. didn't know when the cast could take off. Thanks Lord.

This month Justin's bone grow "very good". The bone growth, first outside need to have new bone covered then inside growth. Justin all did this time. Praise Lord! Glory to God! Now, Justin need to use crutches for one month. Then we are waiting for the next X-ray on March 02. We hope Justin can walk normally again at that time. We will continue pray.Thank you again for those brothers and sisters who pray for us. Please see attach pictures.

    Angela

    Raising the roof of expectations!
MORE, Jesus, MORE!! Praise You GOD!!!!

  2. LIFE Presentation & JUSTIN

    Wednesday, January 28, 2009
    By johnny
    This is Helena's art project.
I am so encouraged by her courage and boldness to step out of her comfort zone to fight for what is the real truth.

A baby in the womb crying out for LIFE. This baby represents the 50 million babies killed over the past 36 years since the legalization of abortion, living in the world that is polluted (the foggy glass bowl). The world map is in red, and the countries that have darker shades of red are those that has legalized abortion.

    Me, Eddie, Grace
    Joshua, Leal, Gordon
    Grace & Victor

So this morning @ 8am, everyone from YOPP went into her classroom with LIFE tapes over our mouth and did a solemn siege while she started proclaiming the truth about this Maker of heaven and earth. Man the atmosphere was so intense, I could feel there are angels raging wars against the kingdom of darkness right there in that small classroom @ UCSD!

When Helena started to talk about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and I could see the faces of many students, especailly the teacher's assitance (TA) running the session, turned into impatience. The TA was probably offended in some way, and he kept on looking at his watch even though there was not time limit to the presentation.

Anyhow, Helena basically preached the Gospel in that little 10 minutes presentation through the issue of abortion! I had tears in my eyes when we all took off our tapes and prayed the prayer at the end of her presentation:

Jesus, I plead your blood over my sins
and the sins of my nation.
God, end abortion and send revival to America.

Man, when light comes, darkness has to flee. It was powerful and I believe many would feel the conviction and the stirring of the hearts after they left the classroom. Thank You Lord for showing up; Holy Spirit, You are amazing and I love it when Your presence is so permeating!

    *****************on a side note......

Earlier today, Jack sent out a text, and Annie commented regarding to Justin's condition:
Justin's bone has been growing for the first time since both of his legs were on cast. The doctor was surprised and the mom felt moved to bring along the camera that morning to witness the mighty power of the Lord! Let's keep praying until the cancer is totally gone! HALLELUJAH!

I listened to Bill Johnson's message, and he shared this verse and said, "I wrote right next to the verse, 'Why some revival succeeded and some failed.'"

A satisfied soul loathes the honeycomb,
But to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet.
    -Proverbs 27:7-

Jesus fed those who are hungry, ya?
Mmm... I feel my spiritual stomach crying out =D

  3. Prayer For AUSTEN JAVELIN LEE!!

    Tuesday, January 27, 2009
    By johnny

    Austen - Great, Magnificent
Javelin - The light spear raised in Joshua's hand for battle
    Lee - um.....Lee?

Then the LORD said to Joshua, "Hold out toward Ai the javelin that is in your hand, for into your hand I will deliver the city."
For Joshua did not draw back the hand that held out his javelin until he had destroyed [a] all who lived in Ai.

My most amazing nephew is fighting his way out of the womb! I am so proud of him! I can't wait for him to grow up and hear all of the Impact uncles and aunties telling him his story before he entered into this world! AHHH!!! That gets me more excited to pray! Just imagine that! That's INSANE!!!! =D

Man we all gotta start dreaming for this mighty warrior! He's fighting the roughest battle of his life (and ever will be) right now! Just thinking about it puts me in awe of God's creation. We are made in the image of the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit!

    I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
    -Psalm 139:14-

OH YA! GROW, BABY AUSTEN, GROW!

  4. Prayer For Justin

Today's the check-up day for Justin. I have not heard any news but I am believing for a miracle!! God You are a good God and You love Justin so much that You sent Your only Son to die for him so that he is free from the attacks of the enemy. Lord, it is not right to see a 7-year-old boy in a wheelchair while all other boys are running around and playing sports! I rebuke all the tumors in his body and I ask the cells to be normal in the name of Jesus!

    Amen!! We've got the victory!

  5. GET READY! RAISE YOUR EXPECTATIONS!

    Thursday, January 22, 2009
    By johnny
Hey you Impact leaders! If you have not been raising your expectations for more of Him, you better start expecting, because He is going to blow a wind of breakthrough among us and the church as a whole! I received a dream about Impact from Tammy, a student from CalState Long Beach, who has visited Impact a few times.

    Here's her dream:
i saw people walking around the church and kind of unsure of what is going to happen next. there is an expectation for something exciting or awesome to happen. after the service or during, some of us started to leave the church and went to a store. the store has the coolest and most trendy clothes. here is the awesome part: it is extremely cheap!! however, not a lot of people know about it because it doesn't have signs that says "On Sale" or anything. Only a few people from your church went into the store and bought things when I think everyone should get something! I mean like some of the jeans were only $5!!!! actually, a lot of the clothes were only $5!! If you ask the manager there, you'll know that it is on sale but if you don't ask, you'll probably think it's too expensive to buy anything there.

so this is what i sensed from the dream or its meaning for your church. God wants to bring a breakthrough at your church and he's bringing it soon! but you need to let go of the old wineskin or the familiarity of it to move on. i have the sense that you guys know that so that's really good.anyways, you need to change your old clothes and put on the new clothes. there is an anointing that is about to be released in your church so you can walk in the calling to impact the youth in this generation. to do this, you need to know that 1. your true identity, the identity that God is calling you! 2. the things that He wants to give to you are great stuff! you need to ask Him for them! it comes with a price, and that price is simply praying for them. You'll be able to purchase/receive these things through God's grace (number 5).

I'm expecting great things to happen at your local church soon!! woop-pii! i hope you can pass this on to your leader so he/she will be encouraged. God bless ya
    love,tammy

    ***********************************

I believe this is a confirmation, and I have been expecting a breakthrough since we moved into this new facility. I believe we will enter into a season of new favor and new wine, even though I do not know what to expect.

Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you!...For when you did awesome things that we did not expect, you came down, and the mountains trembled before you.
    -Isaiah 64:1,4-

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.-Romans 8:18-21-

I believe when we have positioned our hearts for a breakthrough, the Lord would reveal yet another side of Him to us, and the roof on which we are pounding shall be broken through and become the floor of a new dimension. Can you feel the anticipation? I urge you to stir yourselves up to contend for a breakthrough, and ask the Lord what is it that He wants us to pray and to press in. I believe in the next month or two, we will receive confirmations from different people regarding to the breakthrough we are about to enter into!

For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
    -2 Cor. 8:9-

Man I love that verse. I am believing for a new level of grace and favor is on its way. In order to take in the new wine, we oughta have our new wineskin ready!

I was just listening to Kris Vallotton earlier today, and I felt his message really lifted my expectation. He shared about Isaiah 54:

    1 Sing, O barren woman, you who never bore a child;
    burst into song, shout for joy, you who were never in labor;
because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband," says the LORD.
2 "Enlarge the place of your tent,

    stretch your tent curtains wide, do not hold back;
lengthen your cords, strengthen your stakes.
    3 For you will spread out to the right and to the left;

your descendants will inherit the nations and settle in their desolate cities.

God's telling the barren woman to SHOUT FOR JOY as if she just gave birth to a child! Moreover, He wants her to build a HUGE HOUSE even before she had any child! I believe we ought to start shout for joy and THANK HIM IN ADVANCE for what He is about to do! Throguh doing this we are creating an atmosphere that ushers in the breakthrough. It is very exciting NOT to know what God's about to do, but I can feel the ever-growing anticipation inside of me every day!

If you have read thus far, I pray that you are now as joyful as I am, and the Lord would convict your heart to start shouting for joy and thanking Him in advance for the breakthrough to come!

    Just keep lovin' Jesus =D

  6. Intercession + Impartation

    Wednesday, January 21, 2009
    By johnny

I could not believe that I woke up @ 6am today to go to the 7am prayer meeting. By His grace that I actually woke up after 4 hours of sleep!

Long story short, I spent 3 hours (from 7-10) praying with Eddie, Joshua, Leal, Grace, Victor, and Helena in this little office space, and one hour (10-11) on the head of the serpent. I have been reading 1 Kings 18 for the past two days and it totally rocked me. I'll share more tomorrow on that since I'm still working on the notes. Then from 11-12 I went to Library Walk with ORIGINS gang - Brian, Esther, Becca, Jojo, Jeremy, and Delilah - since we've got a tabling down there for 2 hours.

One cool thing: people were passing by the table, and this dude's (his name's Justin) like, "so what is this? free encouraging words huh?"
"Yeah man, would you like some free encouraging words?"
"You have 2 seconds to encourage me."
(And my heart was like, alright Lord, whatever You want me to say, I'll say it.)
"Well Justin, you are a person of influence. You impact people's lives and I believe that is a gift that God has given to you. People will follow you and see you as a model and example. God love you."
And he was like, "man that's pretty accurate!" And left for class.
Is Jesus good or what?! =D

I came across four people today:

    1) Joshua - broke his left shoulder. He had a sugery once but the doctors messed it up so there are blood clogs around his bicep area. Not pretty at all. He's been taking pills to prevent the clogging and he had another surgery just a week ago. I laid my hands on his shoulders and I felt heat as I prayed! He said he felt the heat too. I asked him to start moving it around, but he said he doesn't want to hurt it and he will give me a report next week. Got his facebook. Sweet.

    2) Steve - torn ligament by his right thumb playing water polo. He told me that he needs to have the cast on for at least 2 months. Didn't want me to laid hands but accepted prayer. Lord I thank You for healing him and when he goes back to the doctors he would be completely healed!

    3) This dude wearing a hulky boot walking with a cane. I went up to him with Eddie, but he said, "Yes, I do mind if you pray for me. Thank God for medical science!" And left. Lord I pray that he would come to know You and You would reveal Yourself to him as God the healer.

    4) Dude just sprained his ankle, on his way to the health center. I so wanted to see him healed instantaneously, however his friends were quite pushy, but I got to lay my hand on that ankle. Be healed in Jesus Name!

Well, I just thank God and praise Him in advance for what He will be doing! Thank You Jesus! I want more!

  7. Day of Ankles

I was pretty much starving when I arrived school at around 2pm. As I was walking toward a food stand to get some of that delicious lemongrass chicken, the Lord said to me, "Yo, you gotta fast lunch today."

Wasn't that just the greatest moment of my day!!!....NOT.

Well, I felt that God would prepare someone with a broken ankle for me, so I started my lunch fast praying in tongues and listening to jazz music and reading about Obama's inauguration. Well, I even went up to a guy before I head to class and asked him, "Hey, by any chance you have an ankle problem?" And he said, "No, I don't." lol.

It was 5pm after my last class and I did not feel very hungry (praise the Lord!), but I was still praying in tongue, believing that He would provide me with someone. As I was walking down the Library Walk, this Asian dude is crutching (I just created this word, crutching. sweet.) towards me! And man was I excited. My heart cried out "THAT'S MY ANKLE!" His name's John and he sprained his ankle playing basketball. He could walk alright but he was being cautious by walking with crutches. At first he was hesistant in receiving prayers, and my spirit was like, "NO! God I'm supposed to pray for him!" And guess what? He then said, "Alright. A quick one!" To make the long story short, I left happy even though he refused to give me his crutches. I claimed that healing on the spot!

Then I sat down on a bench waiting for Jeff to come and pick me up. Next to me was Vince, we chatted a bit and I realized that he has a cast on his right foot! He was pretty open to prayer and he told me that he went to church up in San Jose (didn't ask him which one). Anyhow, I claimed healing of that broken bone that has a pin in it. He is going to the doctors tomorrow, and hopefully he can start walking without the crutches after 6 weeks! Amen!

I'm starting yet another personal challenge. In order to practice how to hear from the Lord and pratice being prophetic, I'm going to ask the Lord to tell me something like He did today and I would see that thing come to pass in that day! Words of knowledge, fill me up!

  8. Killing More Babies is Obama's Priority?

    Tuesday, January 20, 2009
    By johnny
I guess President Obama cares more about murdering more babies than the current financial crisis. I simply cannot imagine that he is going to fund FOREIGN ABORTIONS starting TOMORROW, Jan. 20th, his first day of work in the White House.

Here's an excerpt of the article:
Obama Officals Confirm He Will Fund Foreign Abortions Starting Wednesday
Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) -- Officials with the incoming administration of Barack Obama have confirmed that he will indeed overturn a pro-life policy of President Bush on his first day in office. Despite campaigning on the rhetoric of wanting to reduce abortions, Obama will make one of his first actions promoting them globally.

We've already lost one-third of our generation and we cannot afford more lives to be taken. We ought to travail and pray for God to supernaturally intervene and the the shedding of the innocent blood would end. Jesus, I plead Your blood over my sins and the sins of America. God, end abortion and send revival to America!

  9. Prayer For Change

Father, according to Timothy 2, Paul exhorted that "supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and for all that are in authority that we may lead a quiet peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior". In obedience to Your Word, we join together this day, January 20 2009, with our GOD TV family all across the United States of America and join in one heart and one mind in prayer and intercession for our new incoming President Barack Obama. Father we ask this day that as Barack Obama is inaugurated here in Washington DC, that You would look down from Heaven and in Your great mercies upon America look down this day upon President Barack Obama and grant him exceeding wisdom in these crucial days ahead facing him and the new administration. Oh mighty Father we pray as a united body to You, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, that You may grant to Barack Obama the spirit of wisdom and revelation of the knowledge of Yourself this day. That the eyes of President Obama's understanding be enlightened that he may know what is the hope of his calling and the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of Your power to us-ward who believe and to himself, according to the working of Your mighty power which you wrought in Christ, when You raised Him from the dead.

Father we pray that the overshadowing fear of the Lord would start to rest upon this new administration. We pray for Your sovereign hand to guide the President and those in his cabinet. We release YOUR purposes, we release YOUR plan, we release YOUR strategies and YOUR wisdom, we release YOUR governance. We pray for visitation in the President's night hours and revelation in his waking hours, that as he enters the pressures and the challenges of office in 2009 that he would be driven to trust in You as his mighty fortress, that he would find refuge and wisdom under Your wings, that he would seek Your face before he seeks man's wisdom and Father, that You would pour out word after word in season upon him from on high.

Father, we thank you that even as Abraham Lincoln and Andrew Jackson ruled in generations before Barack Obama, that You have placed upon President Barack Obama's shoulders a mantle to root out and tear up wickedness, thank you Father, that by Your sovereign mighty hand, You would imbue him with zealousness and righteousness to rout out evil men and sinister schemes. Grant President Barack Obama the courage to rule with justice and the wisdom to rule under God. And Father, as the body of Christ that we commit to You to lift him up faithfully and fervently. That we may consistently petition Heaven on Barack Obama's behalf and petition President Barack Obama on YOUR behalf. Father, we also ask that You minister to him in the night hours regarding the issue of abortion that he may know Your heart and Your mind on these issues so important to H eaven. And finally we ask divine protection and blessing over his family and upon his physical life. Preserve his life from being cut off prematurely, Father preserve him from sinister schemes and the schemes of wicked men. Thank you that as President of the United States he will run the course that is laid out for him in this time and this season. Thank you for joining with us and our GOD TV teams all across America to pray for President Barack Obama today and in the months and years ahead. God Bless America! With our love in the service of the Lord Jesus Christ, Rory and Wendy Alec.

Today is definitely one of the most significant day of the history of man. And President Obama sure needs lots of prayers for the next 4 years, once again, God, I pray for the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You to fall upon him that Barack Obama will be a God-fearing leader of the United States of America.
    Amen, amen, and amen.

  11. What A Night

    Monday, January 12, 2009
    By johnny
Well, to my surprise, my Film & Music lecture had a movie screening of SILHOUETTE CITY, a documentary that is examining where Christianity is heading to -- war.

This movie is definitely biased, and saying that this movement of Christian "army" is going to be a scary thing.

Silhouette City examines the motivations for adopting apocalyptic worldviews by providing a unique window into the foundational ideas, organizational structure and psychological dynamics of one of the most powerful movements taking root in America today. The film bears witness to the long, dark shadows of fear and intolerance being cast in the familiar landscapes of the homeland.
    - Silhouette City Official Website

    Here's the Trailer:

One crazy thing is that the director of this film, Michael Wilson, came and did some background explanation, and the first thing he said was about THE CALL. He went to The Call and videotaped some, however the footage did not get into the documentary because it was already done before the event. Anyhow, he specifically mentioned about a UCSD campus club leader who spoke at the very end of The Call on martyrdom. Yes, he was talking about EDDIE BROWN, who I was just about to meet right after class!

Man I wish I had went up to him and invited him to go interview Eddie with me. Anyhow, it was crazy, at least I was the ONLY person in class whose heart was aching.

Had a great time with Eddie, Victor, Helena, and Grace. I told them about what just happened and they were so shocked! There will be another movie screening this Friday @ our school's theatre. Anyhow, we talked about what's on our hearts and brainstorming on what we should do for this season. We still don't know, but we know that prayer is the key.

The video below is made by Michael Wilson on The Call... tell me what you think of it.

  12. Good Companions

    Friday, January 9, 2009
    By johnny
Well, if you miss my (in)famous SUPER LONG posts, here you have it!

This is Casey. He is a great man of God. I went to a bible study last year which he led with three other Intervarsity dorm team leaders! I love Casey for his open heart, I respect him for his life experiences, and I appreciate him for his desire to love Jesus wholeheartedly. We really haven't talked since LAST SCHOOL YEAR! So we set up a time today to kinda share with one another what the Lord has been doing in our lives and what have we been receiving or wanting.

Just like what he told me today, "I feel like we just talked last week!" I felt the same way, and that connection between brothers is simply awesome. We stuffed our lives in the past 6 months in an hour. Phew. It was pretty intense but we managed to do it! Casey, I'm definitely praying for your teaching thing and keeping track on your blog! Love you man.

This is Garrett. Over a year ago we had a great lunch time sharing hearts. He's a great man with amazing characters. Well, over the year of 2008, he was abroad in Chile, so we only got to chat over SKYPE (praise God for Skype!) and do some seasonal check-ups! After meeting with Casey, I bumped into Garrett! It was like divine set-up from the Lord or something! I have been thinking about him this week, hoping to see him, and voila!

So we spent an hour just to share what the Lord has been speaking to us, and he started to share with me how he experienced a shift/breakthrough in the spirit that God was speaking to him through dreams and visions regarding to the nations.

Then I asked him to keep Jill Austin in his prayers. I told him that she came down to SD for a conference back in April, and I got filled by the Holy Spirit and got to a point that I started laughing so hard, and whoever I touches would start laughing with me! And as I was just sharing it, Garrett started laughing uncontrollably, and he put hands on my shoulders, and I started to get some of that wine upon me, and we were laughing and saying, "man we're in the middle of the food court, (laughing).... you don't wanna get too intense here... it wouldn't be a pretty scene...lol", something like that. Well, it's good to have a dose of the Spirit here and then haha...

Hanging with a Garrett is just so chilaxing. I feel like he's my long lost brother or some sort, ya know. Since he shared with me his dreams & visions, I told him one of the three dreams I posted back in Novermber & December. It'd be great to hear what revelation he receives from the dreams! Anyhow, we had a blast hanging out and sharing what's been on our hearts. I can't believe a year has gone by since we last saw each other! Time really flies.

After a tedious class on lightwaves and how we cannot see UV lights or infrared lights, I went to ORIGINS Large Group meeting @ Brian Orme's new pad here in La Jolla (OMG THE HOUSE IS AMAZINGLY GORGEOUS!!!! I'D DO ANYTHING TO LIVE IN IT!), mostly to catch up, talk about what's coming up, and get to know each other. Brian, his wife Cecilee and his 2.5 year-old daughter Eowyn are living just one mile away from UCSD in this beautiful house that has an oceanview (ssssick!).

Brian Orme (Left) & Sam Han (Right)

Eowyn Orme, Brian's 2.5 year-old daughter who's got healing hands!

Well, tonight was a potluck, so I brought in some Johnny-made rotisserie chicken (oh yeah!).... I mean.... RALPHS made chicken, and some OREO double stuf! Some people brought in veggies with dips, baked sweet potatoes, fruits, potato salad, and super delicious MEATBALLS! I got the recipe and I'll be making some butt-kickin' meatballs that'll put your grandmas to shame, ow! Anyhow, we all got to worship a bit, and pray for our friends who we want to see saved.

I then shared a praise report about the lady whose cancer got miraculously healed! And I also ask everyone to pray for Tina's aunt in China who is suffering from the same cancer that God just healed! In Jesus Name! And lastly I told them about Jesse, who lost his battle with cancer yesterday.

I've come to a realization that as I was mourning over the loss of Jesse, who did not know Jesus, I was, at the same time, beginning to press in and contend for a million soul revival. This reality just hit me yesterday. We need to mourn for lost souls, but we ought to have a burden to see the Lord restore what the devil has taken away. Like Brian said, "the Lord will repay sevenfold of what the enemy took away. That seven people will be healed of cancer out of the loss of Jesse." I'm believing it. God is loving and good, and His mercy endures forever.

One last thing. PLEASE PRAY FOR JILL AUSTIN. She's a prophetess who has been traveling across the globe to be a vessel for the Lord, and yesterday she suddenly had a high blood pressure and her pancreas had some issues that she was sent to the hospital in Kansas City. She's in a critical condition and desperately needing a miracle that the Lord would heal her and restore all blood cells and kill all the viruses and attacks. I pray victory over the battle against the enemy. GOD YOU ARE GOOD!

Had a little facebook chat with Eddie. I love his heart and I am so blessed to fight with him side by side. We chatted a little bit about Jill's condition and he told me that he was just chatting with Jill about what is coming up in 2009 back in Kansas City (just 12 hours before she was sent to the hospital!). We then also shared what has been on our hearts -- contending and ask Him to rend the heavens and come down in a greater measure of His power and glory!

If I ascend into the sky
    Or hide behind the night
I can not run Your love is chasing me
If I fall into the sea
    Your hand will rescue me
No one will take Your place

    - Yes You Have by Leeland

I feel like spending a couple posts on love and what I see love is, what the Bibles says about it, and some stories about love.

It's been quite a while since I wrote a post this long! I actually miss it quite a lot! God is so good and I cannot wait for more! I'm expecting a sevenfold favor!

  13. Love & Hate

And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love.
But the greatest of these is love.
    -1 Corinthians 13:13-

Yet I hold this against you:
You have forsaken your first love.

    -Revelation 2:4-

Surely God will crush the heads of his enemies...
    -Paslm 68:21-

God loves sinners but hates sin.

My friend, Jesse Lopata, passed away earlier today. He lost the battle against cancer. He is only 18. I do not think he accepted Jesus as his savior. It's disheartening to hear this news, and now I can only mourn over this lost soul. But I know that the Lord wants me to contend for millions of unsaved souls who are still alive.

Jesus, I ask for peace, and comfort to Jesse's family, and that You would let his family to come to know You as their Lord, God, and Savior. Your heart must be aching.

Everyone has to come to an Ezekiel 34 moment.

I am entering into that season, I believe.

I like Brian Orme's prayer for my friend: I pray that the Lord will make the enemy repay 7 fold what has been stolen and you will see cancer healed in others.

Enemy, you belong in the bottomless pit.

  14. Reflection on 2008

    By johnny

Looking back, I am amazed by what I have accomplished over the past year. I have grown so much in the spirit since last January. And I am certainly looking forward to yet another fruitful year.

These 365 posts over 2008 are just the beginning and a small personal commitment. I am so glad that I did not give up, and the result is oh so sweet.

In 2009, I will definitely keep this blog rolling on a bi-weekly basis (or even more), and in additino to this blog, I will start a music blog (kinda like the Book of Psalms blog I did for a month,,,) with some musicians from Impact for brainstorming and publishing purposes.

This blog is for myself, simply to record my daily life with Jesus and my heart.
Man I sure can really say that I am proud of myself =)

If I can write 365 posts in a year, you can do it too!
    GOD IS GOOD!

ps. Stay tuned for the music blog!

  15. Luke 18 - True Justice

    Saturday, January 3, 2009
    By johnny

Well, I think this is some good word:

The Parable of the Persistent Widow
1Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up. 2He said: "In a certain town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3And there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea, 'Grant me justice against my adversary.'

4"For some time he refused. But finally he said to himself, 'Even though I don't fear God or care about men, 5yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with her coming!' "

6And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust judge says. 7And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8I tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"

Whether big or small, there are justice movements being raised up during these past decades. But here's the thing: what's the motive behind all the "saving the oppressed and the poor"? In this parable, the judge gave justice to the widow TO SHUT HER UP, not because he wanted to help her. He is being selfish instead of selfless.

Well, I believe many secular justice movements have the wrong motives for what they do, and we can basically break them down into two main ones: fame & money. We as believers ought to see this and start a true justice movement that is based out of the love of Christ. We let the poor into our homes not because we want them to stop begging but rather we want them to feel what it is to be loved. We gotta reach out to those who are lost in the desert & forest before they face the day of judgment.

The Antichrist will call forth a justice movement based on everything wrong motive, yet there will be people follow, begging for just a loaf of bread. And on the other end, the disciples of Jesus will also bring forth the greatest justice movement this world has never seen--walking in signs, wonders, and miracles through the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

    What is justice to you?

blind eyes open you only live once.
open your eyes.
His love never fails. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
