I can't say I don't like coming back to San Diego, but staying back home is certainly better than reading dry articles....ugh.

Went to a 2-hour class. I hope it gets interesting as the term picks up! However I'm excited for our first project: to create music without instruments. I'm looking forward to it!

God I thank You for protecting Jeff and I back to San Diego. Have favor over our work as we dive into yet another eleven weeks of school until summer comes. Thank You Lord, I love You!

This past week has been wonderful--full of fun and favor! I felt like everyone has been encountering the favor of the Lord over him/her. From Annie's real estate to Jack's let-go, God's taking care of so many things(just about everything) in our lives, and all we gotta do is believe that He's taking care of us because He loves us. From as simple as a ride down to San Diego to a rise in GPA for 0.07(praise the Lord woohoo!), God's got them all covered. He's got my back. And I love it when He takes over and mess up our lives =) Father, come and take control of my life!

You were bought at a price; do not become slaves of men.

Thank You Lord for pouring down Your love upon us today as we come before You and seek Your face and give You our alabaster jar and pour it at Your feet. Lord I want to walk with Your daily and hear Your voice; know Your presence and seek Your face; speak Your truth and be who I am created to be.

God's awesomeness cannot be described in words.
I'm going to make this short. So the first time I've ever been to WAVE we had a great time waiting upon the Lord. In the beginning everyone seemed to be in their own little world, basically there lacked a unity in spirit. So we decided to worship. As we were singing Open the Eye of My Heart, I felt like we should just come before the Lord and seek His presence and face. So after praying for those who needed prayers, we were all quiet and down on the floor, sitting or lying. I was kneeling. No music. Just silence. Man, I love it. After about 15 or 20 minutes I stood up and started to play pads, and for just a sec I felt like this might be close to the sound of heaven(probably not even close lol)! But I was felt the Spirit as I was playing. It has been a while since we all have done this at Impact, and tonight the Lord really messed up our schedule(or maybe I should say He gave us something new). So we were basically worshiping and soaking in His presence for like an hour. Everyone felt the presence of the Lord and the atmosphere was so peaceful--the spirits were all united and connected. I think there were 12 of us at church tonight having an awesome time with the Lord. Then we started to share visions and pictures we received. And then we started to talk about spiritual warfare. Many shared their testimonies about overcoming the enemy's tricks and tactics to lead us away from God. Lord I pray that You would give us a discernment of spirits as we encounter any spirit in the future and right now. Let us know when to rebuke and when to draw near, thank You Lord. Protect us.

That's about it. Jesus is comepletely amazing.

Alhambra Library--
It was pretty awesome to hang out with Jack, Joy, Jennifer, and Leni and praying for people. So I saw this guy walking toward the parking lot toward his mom's car. So I kinda went up to him and started to say hi and all, and then I started to speak life and encouragement into his life out of nowhere. "God really love you man. And He has more confidence for you than you do for yourself. You don't have to care about what other people think about you man, cuz you have an identity that is in Christ."
I didn't even have time to let him speak. And I felt that he was stunned cuz his face was totally frozen, with eyes staring at me. But anyhow I gave him impact's card and said Bless You and then I let him go. It was pretty crazy actually because I didn't expect some reaction like this! Pretty cool stuff happened today indeed! Praise that Lord! I really want to see healing taking place right there outside of Alhambra Public Library!

Releasing the Supernatural conference--
I only have one word to describe Bill Johnson's session tonight--totally amazing. His words are full of juice, and I feel like I'm a net trying to catch all the liquid of his words! Hard to contain yet with such an anointing that his words attracts and stirs up the hearts. I really cannot describe how right-on he was about the inheritance of the Kingdom--Impact's vision in 2008. I knew what he was going to talk about(at least a little part of his sharing) when we turned to Psalm 2. The topic about the resurrection is so simple yet through his words it becomes a topic that is actually simple yet with depth. I really don't know how to say it, but Bill Johnson really is a humble man who's simply going after God's heart. I'm going to start listening to his sermons over and over again until I get it from the Lord. I encourage everyone to check out his sermon--it'll totally get you all confused for a moment(or it may not) and shake your world heavily, and then you'll get stirred up. I really have lots of respect for that man.

Yes, Get Connected is giving birth...I mean, Get Connected is in the process of being remixed! Stay tuned...hopefully I'll get the raw version done by Saturday. I'm pretty excited about it...nnice.

I read Psalm 33, 34, and 35 during prayer room.

There are 150 psalms(in the Bible), but I think these three would definitely be in my top 25 psalms. All by this crazy king who's magnificent at killing giants, writing and playing music, and his walk with the Lord. I will not stop asking God for the spirit of David!

Alright, time to get back to music now....

A man from the tribe of Benjamin - Saul.

God's people wanted a king instead of the Lord.
God's people want science and logic instead of God.

"We want a king over us.
Then we will be like all the other nations,
with a king to lead us and to go out before us

The first quality mentioned about Saul is very interesting:
He's a Benjamite. From the tribe of Benjamin, that is.
Benjamin was Joseph's little brother, the 12th tribe.
Why? I'm really not sure.
I believe it has something to do with the coming of Jesus.

And here's once again about how prophets draw people close to the Lord: worship with instruments:

...a procession of prophets coming down from the high place with lyres, tambourines, flutes, and harps being played before them, and they will be prophesying. The Spirit of the Lord will come upon you in power, and you will prophesy with them; and you will be changed into a different person.

I want to use this verse as one of my life-time verses. Lord, may Your Spirit fall upon kings and queens through my worship to You. Teach me how to prophesy through worship in a deeper level. Because this is what I'm passionate about--prophetic worship.

I asked God to grant me freedom in worship in a new way tonight during Prayer Room. Misty was leading and the entire atmosphere was full of His Spirit. God gave me Psalm 33. I read it through twice and started to come before Him and love Him with all I have. How I miss being with the Lord on my knees! I started to bob back and forth and then my arms started to move uncontrollably. Then I started to move my body and my arms--it was such a relief and there I was dancing before the Lord. Haven't done that for such a long time. Misty's words fit right into my heart. And so was Psalm 33:

6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made,
their starry host by the breath of his mouth.
9 For he spoke, and it came to be;
he commanded, and it stood firm.
11 But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.
12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people he chose for his inheritance.
18 But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him,
on those whose hope is in his unfailing love.
20 We wait in hope for the LORD;
he is our help and our shield.

Lord, I still put my hope in You and I still trust in Your Holy Name. Come and open the doors of my heart once again and show me Your plan for Your beloved ones. Even though my aunt did not come back alive, I believe Your heart is moved and You have given my aunt another chance to believe in You. Lord I thank You for the past 3 weeks--my faith has been shaped by You, into a stronger vessel. You really did break my heart with what breaks Yours 3 weeks ago, and now, throughout the past 3 weeks, You have molded and reshaped my heart. I can't thank You enough. Come and spark the fire, Lord!

So I came up wtih na idea to connect two cars into one--right by the wheels like there's a bar that connects the tires so that right now two cars become one. Enoch was controlling the speed, while some one was driving(someone from impact...Eric, maybe?)...So I showed this c oncept to a designer, but the designer said that people have come up with this kind of idea...but I said no one tried to make it happen! I know that I'm on the right car, and Jeff(i think) is on the left car.
that's my dream. at least the part that I can remember...

so I was in Uganda for some reason, and I was walking with this girl whose name's Amy(she's white) and beforehand we were fighting at a battle with other comrades too....that's about it.

March 23 2008
This dream is much longer because I woke up and started to type it out. So here it goes:
something to do with the airport. and then the scene goes to worship....
and we're singing this song and all at church and we were having this prayer meeting...out of nowhere I was with Jack/Annie/Jennifer/J/Steven....Jack, Annie, and Jennifer were praying about something....I forgot...and I was talking to J & Steven about something....

And then the scene changes to me on a bus, and out of nowhere everyone started to sing this song...oh I think actually Jennifer was on the bus too, and we started to sing this song on the bus praising the Lord, and people started singing with us. One of the girls in the front of the bus started to jump up and down praising God! And then Jennifer went to the front of the bus, took out this little folded booklet or something and tried to sing a new part of the song, but wasn't really successful...and then a girl asked her about the booklet because the booklet looks like a scroll, but Jennifer said something like "it's physical stuff...or something like that..." And I shared with a girl why we sang that song because two weeks ago we sang that at Impact and there's a burden in my heart....(It's an upbeat song)

I think everyone's going to some sort of theme park in the end, but I think that I was getting off early(or maybe I wasn't?). I remember that the bus would stop ANYWHERE there's a food vendor on the side of the road where people can go down and get a hot dog and come back on. And a man was reading the magazine about all the food at different stops: they are all really yummy looking RIBS!!!!! He was flipping the pages, and they are all RIBS and they just get more and more good-looking(the ribs, I mean)....And the man said to the entire bus, "hey we're almost there, we shouldn't be stopping and buying the food because we'll have better food when we get there!"

And then the scene jumps to us getting a key into a house for a meeting--Jack/Annie/me/a guy(I forgot who....someone from impact...we "rented" the key over a counter....or something....the house is 613. And then we got there, Jeff arrived on his car and didn't see us, so I called him and he came.
The house was EMPTY. Out of nowhere I was the kitchen...there was a rice cooker and some leftovers....but that's about it.
I remember clearly that I said, "we don't have instruments!" For I was looking for a piano. "We'll have to go to Jack's house and get his guitar"...I think I said something like that...Then I woke up...

There's also a part of my dream about this guy playing video game, for some reason he was full of hatred, and this "thing" came out of his mouth that turned out to be the devil(I believe)....Hercules and a red headed(long curly hair) lady's clones....Big head but small body....I forgot where, why, and what. But only remembered this: that the devil was the one cloning them in this dark place with only light shining on the people.

I've been on skype with my life-long buddy Richard who's right now in Vancouver. He's doing awesome and is waiting for college replies. Jesus is calling out our names. Are we like Mary, desperate to know where the Lord went but not noticing that Jesus was standing right in front of her? I believe God's calling out our names when we do not recognize them because His voice has power. And because we are His sheep, we know His voice. Go read John 10, it's definitely one of my favorite chapters of the Bible.

The man who enters by the gate is the shepherd of his sheep. The watchman opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice...My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.

Wickedness belongs to the place far, far away.

I had a awesome Skype talk with Garrett who's right now in Chile on a one-year exchange program. He's an awesome guy overall who's hungry and eager and motivated and joyful for what God has for him! Garrett is such an encourager. The last time we talked was more than three months ago before Christmas break. I wrote it down, you can read it here.

Praise the Lord for Internet. Totally.
Once again we chat about lives and lay our sins at His feet and before each other. I prayed (over skype. snnnnap) for Garrett because he's convicted to a short-term goal w/ the Lord and hopefully he will be completely delivered for past sins and all. I told him that he's completely clean already and our hands are clean. I prayed for our hands to be cleaned; we do not want even a little black spot. We want to be bare, stripped down, completely naked before the Lord with nothing, NOTHING to cover. I started to said how we need to return the ORIGINAL image of Adam--the image of God. And it's because of the SIN that we are CLOTHED. That was the Spirit speaking. Thank You Holy Spirit for another level of understanding of the Creator's heart for us. And it's through the Cross and the shedding of the blood of the Lamb that we can return to our original images...It was one of the best prayers I've ever said, I believe. Moreover, it's over Skype! And here's the proof that God is not restricted to any means of communication. His Holy Spirit is everywhere. Garrett then prayed for me before he went and led a Bible study at the place he's living: with other 30 people from all over the world(which is totally awesomeness, dude)! Lord I love You! Call us the righteous ones! Pick us! Choose us! Call out our names! We want to stand before You, with nothing to hide; not because You can't see through us, but for ourselves--we hide from even our very selves!

The last part about the parable really hit me.

Chapter 4 - Sons of Zadok

Sons of Zadok were Levites that proved themselves to be faithful to the Lord...they were allowed to come near to the presence of God and minister to Him. As for Zadok, he was sent back to Jerusalem to worship in the tabernacle--while David was hidden from his son Absalom--to also spy on him. And Zadok's sons brought infomation back to David.

Unfaithful Levites--Ezekiel 44:10~12
Serving God's people in the presence of an idol caused a whole nation to fall into sin. If performance or entertainment is an idol to the musicians on stage, it will cause the people to fall into sin.

Idols: 2 Kings 22 & 23--King Josiah
Made king of Judah when he was just 8. Read the book of the covenant when he was 18. Began to tear down the high places--even in the holy temple.

Praise Leaders Today
Praise leaders today need to know the Word well neough and have a close relationship with God and to recognize an ambitious spirit, an idol, or anything that tries to deal with those spirits as soon as they are identified.

Allowed to Come Close
I've always thought that I had to do something that would bring the presence of the Lord. Now I see that He is always there and it is me that needs to draw close to Him. Only faithfulness will accomplish that. (Ezekiel 44:15~16) Drawing near means SACRIFICE or OFFERING: our sacrifice of praise is our hope of drawing near to God.

Assuming a High Position
When entertainers or praise bands come together, they must start by taking a lowly seat first. Then, if the head of that meeting chooses to lift you up, it will be done with true honor and not from self-promotion.

Parable of Talents--Matt 25:14~30
Talent does not only mean money, but also real talents that we have. Well, you should at least have put my money into the bank so I could have some interest. (Matt 25:27 NLT) The word "least" means the least one can do with their talent is to draw interest on it. Trying to make money or gain interest from your talent is not the worst thing you can do with it--it's the least you can do with it. If you invest in your talent, it will grow. The growth was what pleased the returning Master, not the amount.

That's just a little bit about the chapter with many points unmentioned! This book is small, yet it is packed with so many goodies! I think starting April, I would like Radical Jam to read this book together as a band.

Had a special prayer meeting with Eddie, Ryan(the leader of Intervarsity on campus. he's been here for 12 years), Joe(staff of IV), Jon, and Grace. I've been wanting to have a great prayer meeting with IV's leaders, and there we were praying for UCSD! It was simply awesome. YOPP's right now going to have Love Tent every quarter, at least that's our plan so far. It's time for fellowships to support one another in love. And that's what YOPP's doing for IV. And before we ended our prayer meeting, Ryan anointed Jon, Grace and myself on our foreheads with oil. I felt the peace when he prayed for me as I was heading to my first final exam and I studied for a long time the day before. I also saw two visions when we were praying. I drew them down and I'll share them with Eddie & Ryan sometime later. It's hard to describe in words....

Jeff passed the Writing 4 Retard course! Congrats bro!

I stayed up writing a 2-page paper. Pretty alright. Anyhow, at around 4ish my roommate Sal started to cough quite heavily in his sleep. Immediately the Lord reminded me of what happened 5 months ago on Oct 1, 2007:
3:30am
Awaken by Sal's severe coughing. If you know me, I don't usually wake up during sleep. A deep sleeper I am. So I started to struggle...Cuz I felt like God wanted me to give him some water and pray for him....Oh Lord, I know I should get down from my bed and go give him water and prayer....anyhow, I did it! Then I couldn't fall asleep and started to pray to God for visions and revelations and suddenly these three words came into my mind: sex, drug & alcohol. Don't know whether God's telling me to pray for these specific people who are addicted to either of the three. I asked God for a confirmation soon...finally went back to sleep at 4:30. It wasn't Sal who woke me up, it was Jesus.

God reminded me of that night again, so I went to Sal and did the same thing. And so far he hasn't coughed! Praise the Lord! As for the second part of that diary, I've never had any burden to reach out to those specific people who are addicted to those things that the Lord gave me. And because of that I started to ask God to show up in my daily life!
Here's the crazy part. So after I prayed for Sal tonight, I felt like reading that day's diary. But before I even reached for my notebook, the Lord gave me a revelation. A profound one. finally after 5 months I finally realize something. And it all happened tonight! Keeping it a secret as of now. It was totally God =)

Time for bed. It's 7am. Need to get up at 12 and submit paper.

Spent 6 hours at the library.....ugh.

First of, I didn't put down the testimony from friday night in front of the theatre! So Aaron, Jeff and I were talking, and I saw this girl on crutches *DING*. I excused myself from the convo and went up to her. Found out that she tore her ACL and she's a Christian too! So I offered her a prayer and all, and she told me that she's been trying to walk without crutches and she's almost healed. Praise the Lord =) She let me pray for her! God right now once again I ask for a complete healing over her leg! Thank You Lord!

Went to Bread of Life San Diego today. BANG! Pastor Andrew's message hit me right on. It's the message that I've been looking for:

Out of no reason I started to clean my suite. I think probably because when I get into the mode of cleaning, I would want to do the best. So I spent about an hour crushing bottles and cans and throwing trash out and all. Pretty fun and relaxing, actually. And then I spent like 2.5 hours reorganize my workspace--the dresser, drawers, and desks. So much junk and good stuff. I'm not a dust-free freak at all(not even close), but after four years of being at a boarding school and living in dorms, I found more benefit to stay organized than not to. And I got to serve all my suitemates who are totally awesome.

Wanna know something really weird? I've been feeling wacky today, and I finally found out the reason: I was lacking some spiritual activity! I mean we need to relax and all, and I always have my devotional time; however, I usually have YOPP, 24/7, or IV going on. I don't know, it might just be an Asian thing--just gotta do something every second, ya know. Oh well, I'm feeling awesome right now, and ready for a good sleep! Going to visit Bread of Life San Diego tomorrow with Jeff. It shall be fun! (missing Impact >"<) I was reading Ruth the other day on the snake head... need to read it over and over and over again; and ask for revelations too!

I just want to kill that snake right now. Violently. God make me a snake slayer! That thing has been attacking Jeff for the entire week. He'll post about it in his blog...It's all about crazy dreams with Lucifer, Snake, Dragon, Black Cat, Boiling Pot, Death, More death, A guy whose name's Judas Lucipher(that's just crazy....Judas Iscariot + Lucifer), and Snake's tongue from a person's mouth....if you were there, you would be so furious at what the enemy's trying to do--steal, kill, and destroy.

Here's the update about yesterday at PC & YOPP:

PC--
We played Aswan North's music for like 40 minutes. Man I felt the anointing from his songs and all of us felt so peaceful and gentle, unlike the couple times before--heavy and stressed out! We knew that God was moving in the atmosphere! Go check out Aswan's music--it's under Mighty Sites! He's become one of my favorite artists!!
Anyhow, Speach basically rocked the campus!! He started to speak prophetically into random people's lives, and they were just there having lunch!!! XD....God was right there touching people's heart through words of encouragement and edification! Come on! We were all laughing with joy because God just showed up like that! And by doing so, not only those who got prophesied were encouraged but also the rest in PRice Center who were really tentative at what was going on! They would see whether God really spoke through us =)
And then I was playing djembe with Jon who then played and sang. While we were right there worshiping, Speach and Grace went up to this guy with crutches and a skateboard. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but I started to pray for healing and restoration. I was watching this right with my eyes: that guy, after being prayed for, TOOK OFF ON HIS SKATEBOARD with both his CRUTCHES ON HIS HANDS!!!!! I was like....... wwwwwwwwwhhhhhhat!!!!

YOPP--
We all started to prophesy over each other. I had to leave early so Eddie, Speach, Gordon, and Victor told me many things that I've known and many that I would never think of! I recorded the worship down so I'll put them up here sometime soon!

Today--
Walking back to Revelle and asked God to give me a sign/picture so that I can pray for someone. Right after I closed my eyes I saw GREEN SHIRT & GLASSES. So I was like....uh mmmmkay. I looked around, and guess wwwwhat? There he was, with green shirt(exactly the same color I saw in the picture) and glasses, walking speedily. I had to RUN in order to catch up with him lol... Anyhow, so I asked him whether I could pray for him, and he said sure! His name's Thomas, and he's from ARCADIA(!!!!!!!!!!AHS '04). He's also a believer and trying to raise $3,000 by the end of April so that he can go on a mission trip to southeast China! Come on! Too bad he was at a rush to class so we chatted just for a little while but I got his number!! Sweeeett....

Bryce--
He such a great guy. I need to start hanging out with him. He saw me today and showed compassion toward my family. I then told him my conviction and he then prayed for me. Bryce is an awesome guy who's going to be used in a significant way toward this school's revival. I'm praying that God would keep on revealing His plan for him to him!

Intervarsity--
I love their new serie: Seeking Justice.
Today was the last sharing of the serie, and the speaker is a very succesful, retired lawyer who's been impacting the world through this org called Restore International. Basically he told us these completely crazy stories about how his three children wrote letters to all the presidents, prime-ministers, and kings in EVERY COUNTRY possible, simply saying this:
Hi, we are the Goff family and we live in San Diego. We just want to invite you to have a sleepover at our house. If you cannot, then can we stay over at your house and interview you?

How crazy was that? But guess what? 29 of all the responses came back with YES, you can come over! So they went to the middle east--Israel, Palestine, Egypt.....or something like that. And they gave those political giants the same token: a key--the key to their house in San Diego! That's just so CCCCRAZY! Bob Goff said a real good point: How to use our position as "nobodies" to make a big influence? Go and think about big dreams and start DOING it. I have so much respect for this man--rich yet humble. Annie, you would have run up to him and given him your business card =)

IN-N-OUT Run--
Hung out with Jeff and his two friends: Susan and Tae. Laughed a lot. Keeping them in my prayers.

So, I finally went to sleep @ 5:30ish pm. And then I woke up at 1:40am. And here I am, writing me blog.

Please keep my high school Northfield Mount Hermon in your prayers. I can't reveal much about stuff, but basically a big wave of attack from the enemy has arrived, uglier than ever before, waiting for all students to come back from break, and it'll take lots of prayers and God's hand to tear that wall of Jericho down and break the foundation of the sand.

So I had a wonderful talk with Marianne over the phone and she gave me an update with Breakaway and all. My prayer is to really see students going to Breakaway stand up for the Truth for the Truth sets people free! I love You Momson!!!! Thank you for your 150% prayer support with me about the resurrection of my aunt!

Not sure how long during summer I'll be staying in Taiwan for....my plan is to stay for 1.5 months....so that I can come back for The Call WEST, but dad wants me to stay for the entire summer....hum....

Two verses that's been hitting me:

This is like....God contracdicting Himself lol...But I believe that the two verses work seamlessly with each other in God's mind. Lord, Your mind is way higher and wiser than mine!
But I'm still holding on to the latter promise until March 25th.

ps. Received a long and encouraging message from one of the Breakaway leaders. Here's what she wrote me. God really stirred up her hearts through my little book of acts. Lord I'm honored and humbled:
God amazes me. I was just reading your blog... i couldn't stop really. Reading what you have been up too, the work you have done, has really moved me. Lol, i dont know what to do with myself right now, but i really want to do something. Well, i can always pray. Speaking of which, I have been praying for you and your family, and thinking about you. I was thinking about you already, and then yesterday at church the sermon and scripture reading was about Lazarus. So i thought about it even more. It might not happen...but what if it does? God can change peoples hearts with this. Seeing how much you believe, and all your faith, has given me faith. I feel like i have fallin into the regularity with God and being a Christian. Like it has become just an everyday part of my life, instead of being everything in my life.
Instead of being my life. I want to be there with you, and pray, and see. I want to have and feel that faith. But i feel so far away from it right now. Yet even so, just reading your blog has done something. I almost started crying. Not because i was sad... I dont know why.
Good job, and good luck on your papers as well. You are brilliant, and you can do it! : ) I am home for spring break now, so i will keep checking out your blog to see how you are doing. Maybe we could even chat sometime online or on the phone. You are incredible Johnny, and you and God and the Holy Spirit are doing awesome things.

That's right. It's a pain yet fun(NOT)....
Anyhow, praise the Lord that I finished my paper in 9 hours!!! Lord I don't know about how confident I am with this one, but would You have favor over me!

I realize I've been self-righteous toward many different people, and I really should not have. It's not my place to judge others and Lord here I repent before You and the world. I really hate it when I think about what I've done, and God would You cleanse me again and give me a heart of humbleness and compassion. I want to be a Levite, and I know I need to pray, repent, and praise.

Anyhow, that's about it!

This morning Sarah and I were talking about how to bring worship to another level. So I shared with her a bit about the book Facing The Wall.

Chapter 3 - Praise As A Strategy
Not going to share much but on this one thing:
Are the praising people of God suffering the threat of attack from the spirits of perversion, incest, selfishness, and the erosion of the Rock of our salvation? I believe the answer is yes. The devil is attacking the praising people of God from every angle he can.

Everyone's a praising person, yet here Don Potter specifically talks to those who are leading worship--the Levites, so to say--marching before the ark of the covenant: so vulnerable to the enemy! Have no swords or shields, but only trumpets, lyres, guitars, basses, drums, keyboards, and voices. And the devil's trying to shut us up because we are encouraging the army behind us for THE battle. It's like God's taking over my finger and started to type these words! I really didn't think that I was typing them....anyhow, it is very true and the attacks are every where, especially when the praise people stop playing or singing--or to give up doing so because they see what's before them and forget what's backing them up!

Early in the afternoon I was watching/listening to Misty's worship live in Prayer Room, and I felt the Spirit when I was listening and watching her leading worship. Just Misty and her keyboard playing. I really want that anointing of leading people before His throne in songs. Lord that's what I want. I don't want to play some background music. I want to play music that pleases You and You alone and draws Your people close to You. I need Your presence or I rather not play nor sing. Lord I long for a breakthrough--that when Radical Jam sounds the trumpet, Your presence would fall and embrace us. I don't want to worship You only on Sundays.

I believe the Lord was talking through both Jack & Annie, for they asked me the same question in the past two days:
Jack: If she doesn't come back alive, would you still believe that your entire family will come to Christ?
Annie: If God doesn't do it(resurrect my aunt), do you still give Him the glory?

They know what I would respond to that question, yet they asked me. God asked me through them the same question. Why? I think the stirring of my heart is from the Lord, and this is quite a test and trial for me. Lord, I'm going all out holding on to Your promise and believing that You are GOD.

Blessed be Your name

I will sing this over and over again.
Glory be unto You, Lord.
I want to expand and increase in spirit.
I'm raising my expectation for tomorrow!

Back home again. It feels really awesome!

Enoch came and picked me and Jeff up from Union Station and we headed to IHOP in Alhambra for some late night food(you just gotta mention the pun lol). I remember the last time I was here: November 10, 2007--the night after Supernatural Conference at UCLA. I went there with Joshua and MQ. We prayed for our waitress Maria who was worried about her mother and sister, Amy(I think that's the name). Anyhow I remembered that we three all prayed for her(TWICE!).

So today I was searching for her yet I thought I saw her. So I went up and said hi, then I found out that she's not Maria, but rather Letty. She told me that Maria's sick; moreover, Maria has some problems with her right shoulder. Actually Latty said to me, "You can pray for me too!" She then told me how she wants to come back before the Lord like the rest of her family who goes to Calvary Chapel around the area. I felt her hungry heart. She's totally awesome and eagers to restore her relationship with Jesus. Her entire family is saved and has been active with church ministry and walking with the Lord. I was really encouraged to hear her saying that. However, I didn't have a chance to pray with her since she had to get back to work.

So Lord, right now I pray for Maria and Letty. Lord You see their open hearts and eagerness to get close to You. In Jesus' Name I pray for an instantaneous healing over Maria's right shoulder and her sickness! Lord, please come to her rescue. I also pray that You would draw Latty and her youngest son close to You. Overwhelm them with You everlasting love, God! Thank You Jesus. Amen.

I believe that this is the reason why Jesus hasn't come again yet. God cares about his NAME more than anything. And we need to praise Him and give Him thanks that He hasn't come back with fire of judgement yet!

Yes. From Abraham to Jesus to this generation, signs and wonders are diminishing because this world tells us the odds of seeing miracles such as blind eyes see, deaf ears hear, mute mouth talks, and, of course, dead men come alive. If God is a God who heals, then I think signs and wonders are normal, and this world is not acting normal because of their doubts and rejection toward what SHOULD be normal when the presence of the Lord kicks in.

PART 1
Another awesome day at PC. God really tenderized so many hearts right there--only 3 people were yelling and questioning as Robbie, a fourth year who is graduating in just 1.5weeks, was sharing his personal testimony about how God rescued him from drug overdose in his freshman year. He was totally a drug addict--weed, marijuana, ecstasy...and one time he was high on ecstasy, he felt that his heart was about to tear itself apart. And then God came in.
He also shared about how he is still not convinced why he shouldn't believe in Jesus Christ after being in UCSD for 4 years. Here's a little crazy story for you:
Most people we encountered said this, "I used to be just like you(a Christian), and then I went to college." So a girl said the same thing, "I used to be just like you on fire for God." And the Christian filled in the rest for her, "And then you went to college." Guess what the girl replied?
"No. And then I came to UCSD."
For two years she was really on fire for God and was preaching His kingdom at another university, even brought people to Christ. Yet UCSD has convinced her that Christianity is false. And Robbie said, "I'm not convinced." Come on, Robbie. You're awesome, dude. I can really feel God's presence right there in PC. So many ears were tentative at what Robbie's saying--because Robbie's a 4-year biology major student who has faced multiple persecutions and tests about his faith and yet he stands strong. Robbie's words carried another power that Eddie's, not from a student, cannot generate. I'm not saying that Eddie's words are any less powerful than Robbie's; it's the different experiences that draws different people to listen.
And I was there, walking around(no big sign today....grrr) and I saw this guy whom I prayed for on Tuesday on Library Walk. His name's Christian. He's a super awesome dude who's totally up for prayers. He dislocated his left shoulder surfing(once again). So today I told him that I want to pray for him again and I told him that I believe that God works miracles instantaneously and I totally forgot to ask him to try out some movements that would bring pain before. Anyhow, he was totally cool again for me to pray for him and lay my hand on his left shoulder. After the prayer I asked him to give it a try, so he started to move around his shoulder, took the arm thingy off and stretched a bit with his left arm, and he said he felt so much better! God's working miracles!!!!!!!

PART 2
So Eddie and I took a walk to his car(that's parked quite a distance away) and we had a good talk. I told him how I want to dream big dreams for my school, and the more I pray for this land the more I'm attached to it. Eddie was all excited and asked me whether I would like to lead worship for YOPP sometime next quarter if there's a keyboard. I told him that I got the book Facing The Wall by Don Potter and I've learned so much just from the first 3 chapters. And Eddie was totally smiling and clapping because he wants to see worshipers on campus! I was encouraged to just being with him and have chats. Then I started to share with him how I need more faith to pray for the resurrection of my aunt who died this past Monday. We were both really stirred up and excited to see what God's going to do.
I also talked to him about what I'm planning to start at my church--to gather college students and share/teach about how to start walking toward campus revival. And we were thinking about doing a conference/workshop for the college students and Eddie's totally up for sharing and all. I'll look into that--it might be something awesome!
"When there are people yelling, I think it's an obligation for us to go and talk to them. Because they are crying out. And when we start talking to them with love, their hearts would get stirred."--I paraphrased waht Eddie said. So today a girl was yelling and Eddie went up and had a long talk with her. And the girl said this to Eddie:
"You guys are actually not hypocrites!"
That's just so encouraging to all of us there. God's using this non-believer to tell us that He is pleased with what we're doing on this campus and we are living out a lifestyle of taking up the cross and following Christ. People, we gotta start going out and tell the world what true Christians are. Because if we don't show our lives to the world, they are still going to believe the dictionary definition of Christians: hypocrites.

PART 3
Here comes the super exciting part: Grace, Brian, and I went to grab dinner.
They are basically two crazy people just like me whose faith is as big as a mustard seed! For the entire time we were talking about resurrection of my aunt. We were all so excited and stirred up because God was right there talking to us through the conversation! Grace started to read Ezekiel 37 about dry bones becoming as flesh, and Brian read 1 Corinthians 15:12. And then we all were talking about John 11 and 2 Kings 4:33. DUDDDDDDE.....resurrection can be found all the way from the days of Elijah/Elisha to Ezekiel to Apostle Paul in the scripture! And not even mention right now in the 21st century! If Heidi Baker can raise people from the dead in the name of Jesus in Africa, then I don't think there's a problem with me praying for the resurrection of my aunt who is right now a Pacific Ocean away.
And then Judie called. I told her my conviction and she went crazy. But she saw the WHAT IF! She started saying this: if she really comes back alive, you know that our ENTIRE family's going to be changed? You know that everyone would become Christian, right? I was just so encouraged to hear those words from her mouth--she had faith! Come on! I told her the same thing I told my dad and Annie and Jack and everyone: I want to believe that Jesus is still alive. And if He says that He's a God who heals, then I'm going after that and pray for the resurrection of my aunt. If I believe and not put His Word into practice, then the world can call me a hypocrite, right? I've got nothing, NOTHING to lose. And furthermore she's not a Christian and I don't think that she's ready to die yet.
Here's the profound part. When I mentioned that my aunt is 43 years old, Grace was shocked. Because the number 43 has always been the number with which God talks to her! And guess what? She had a dream just last night of a lady being resurrected from the dead! Right then we were all going crazy! Out faith just went up another notch!

PART 4
24/7 prayer room. At around 8:45pm everyone started to pray for me, my aunt, and my family. I can't really describe how amazing it was--I've got so many brothers and sisters sharing my burden and praying for me as if they were in my shoes! And this is what God calls us to do--to share the burden and bring it up to the Lord. I recorded the last 20 minutes of the meeting, will put it on a webpage sometime in the future for downloads. I don't know how to describe hte atmosphere. You just had to be there to feel it. It was more like Holy Spirit leading our worship and prayers--He took over! And I believe that we still need more faith to believe from the Lord!

That's about it, I guess.
I won't stop believing it.
God has been talking to us through dreams and visions!
And I still believe that resurrection is possible!

Something profound:
It was the resurrection of Jesus that we are to connect with the heavens. It's the PHYSICAL resurrection that has set us free.

I tell you the truth, anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

This is the verse. I'm holding on to Your promise, Jesus! If going back to Taiwan is what You're plan is for me, would You open up doors!

pps. Brian and I went and prayed for this dude Andrew. He broke his left thumb, falling off a skateboard. He's an orthodox Christian who's really awesome. After the prayer, he tried to move his fingers(I mean he's got a cast on, but still) and he didn't feel the pain that he felt before! XD....we were all amazed!
