1. Not Gonna Say Much

    Sunday, February 10, 2008
    By johnny
First of all, at around 3pm today I got a text from Eddie:
At Bound 4 Life siege today, Jesus saved a baby! A woman came to get an abortion, stopped when she saw us praying and left. Her friend said, "She changed her mind!"
Miracles are bursting out everywhere through our prayers!

I played with my Garage Band for a while and made this little piece, bit techno and dance-ish music. I gotta spare some time figuring out how to use this program in order to do some recording.

A goal for this Wednesday: make a list and start doing stuff on the list.

Tonight's convo w/ Andy, Annie & Jack was superb. The air was intense yet the spirits were alive. Not gonna go into detail but basically what we talked about was worship. I completely agree with Jack that our worship is not moving forward. And in order to move forward, the leader needs to move first. Come Lord Jesus come. I want to do my best in this position, and I thank You for tonight's convo. So many things have been on my list yet I haven't really checked off any.

    Lord I need Your guidance.

  2. Living Stone + CROSSing over

    Saturday, February 9, 2008
    By johnny
I spent four hours studying for math....yet I totally flunk my math quiz today...oh well. Praise the Lord still I will!

At around 5ish Peter picked me up to go to Bob's house at Carlsbad for BOL's Living Stone fellowship. Bob's involed in BOLSD and has a kid Sam with his wife Monica. There were about 14 of us and they prepared a HUGE dinner for us! That totally warmed me up since I only had Panda Express on New Year's Eve.....the dinner was so amazing!!! There were like 15 different dishes XD. Thank You Lord.
On the way to Bob's house I told Peter about what I've been doing at school--with YOPP and all, and he really do see the importance of connecting with other fellowships and support one another. Peter's a cool guy after all. Also I met Lee, a 4th year studying Management Science. We talked a little about the election and how I support Huckabee. She told me a little history about Roe v. Wade, the huge case regarding to abortion 35 years ago.
A little bit about this case from Wikipedia:
The central holding of Roe v. Wade was that abortions are permissible for any reason a woman chooses, up until the "point at which the fetus becomes ‘viable,’ that is, potentially able to live outside the mother's womb, albeit with artificial aid. Viability is usually placed at about seven months (28 weeks) but may occur earlier, even at 24 weeks.
And for more info about abortion, you can read my last chapter. Anyhow, the conversation was really well and I learned some more about Roe v Wade.

Bob shared about 4 relationships we need to be aware of during our college lives:
    1. Relationship with God - be intimate
    2. Relationship with school work
and physical body condition - do our best
    3. Relationship with friends/opposite sex - wait
    4. Relationship with family/parents - honor
    #1 definitely comes before #2, 3, 4

True that Bob. Thanks so much for tonight. May God use this family to bless many others! Bob's going to Tibet ver ysoon on a mission trip, please pray for his safety and the love of god to consume him that he would pour out his heart and share the love of Christ with the local people there! I promosted Love Tent at the end, and I really do pray that all of them would simply come and worship God and receive restoration during the week of midterms!

So I got back. Read about some prophetic word a paster from Hong Kong wrote to Sarah regarding to the Love Tent. I forwarded it to some leaders of YOPP and 24/7. I'm so excited about this. Something massive is going on in the spiritual realm, and very soon He would blast out His Spirit upon us! Jesus we just want to tell You how much we adore You! I don't know what's going to happen, but I can't wait!

    Some verses to share:

    Sing about a fruitful vinyard:
    I, the Lord, watch over it;
    I water it continually.
I guard it day and night
so that no one may harm it.
    I am not angry.
If only there were briers and thorns confronting me!
    I would march against them in battle;
I would set them all on fire.
    Or else let them come to me for refuge;
let them make peace with me,
yes, let them make peace with me.
    -Isaiah 27:1~5-

This is the love of God. A violent Love that would do anything it can to protect the one the Love loves is the love of God! We watch movies about guys going after the bad guys because they have kidnapped his one and only true love. And this is how deeply and madly in love God is with us. Across the universe, if He has to travel, He would totally do it. And guess what? The Love actually did crossed over the universe and let the whole world see through the cross(pun totally intended :P).

The Love burns. Are you feelin' the heat?
Let's all pray for tomorrow's primary!

  3. Extremely Crazy Stuff!!!

    Friday, February 8, 2008
    By johnny
Alright. Three big things on the snake head:

    1. School's newspaper today: Price Center at Heart of Speech Debate.
I'll bring back a copy of my school's newpaper to Impact. I don't know what God's doing but something massive is happenning on this campus. And all we did was pray and preach. Nothing more. For three years Eddie has been praying on this campus, and this totally biased news article is almost directly denouncing us, the "certain religious group". We're the only "group" mentioned in the article, isn't that something? And if we didn't start preaching in public, no one would even care about the Free Speech policy. Right now the new policy is being written and the next meeting of the committee of the University Center will be on Feb. 14! The day of the Love Tent! This is totally crazy. We're one week until Love Tent and so many things are popping up! And this is totally God's answer to Jon and my prayer(and many others) Wed night on the snake head--to let us know what God's doing and to be close to His heart like David! O God please do not stop Your miraculous work. For we are just seven people praying for revival, You've blasted Your Spirit all over the campus!

    2. Mitt Romney dropped out from the race.
This is insane! We were praying on the snake head and suddenly Gordon got a text saying that Mitt Romney dropped out from the presidential race! That is totally insane! The prayers all over the country for this election are definitely playing a huge part in Romney's suspension. Keep on praying, prayers. McCain v. Huckabee. Should be an easy decision. An awesome brother from 24/7 shared why he's for Huckabee:
    *****
This day I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live 20 and that you may love the LORD your God, listen to his voice, and hold fast to him. For the LORD is your life, and he will give you many years in the land he swore to give to your fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
    -Deut 30:19-
Choose life...I suddenly knew what that meant...I am to vote to choose life! We are to choose life, and choose to obey God. Does my candidate choose life? I know some would rather have it that way, but express a womans right to choose is more important.
In reply to Obama being Christian, I have my doubts. He has been a practicing Christian (and all I mean by that is he's been going to church) for two years. But all that aside, he is pro-choice, and that is the biggest reason I cannot vote for him. In truth I would be willing to vote either democrat or republican...but all the democrats have pro-choice stances, which immediately ruled them out for me.
Let me elaborate a little on why this abortion is so critical that as believers we should judge every candidate on this issue:
More human life has been destroyed since 1973 by abortion (49,619,100) than the number of people that have died in the holocaust (estimated between 5-6 million), the Vietnam war (58,209 US, 5.6 million over all - I added them, you can check my math if you want to) and world war I (9.9 million - allied: 5,525,000, axis: 4,386,000).

running tally (I'm going to round up):
    6 million holocaust
    6 million vietnam war
    10 million world war I
    -------------------------------------------------
22 million (above) vs. 49.6 million (abortion)

50 million is the number of total dead on the allied side (civilian and military) for World War II.

Let me just say that this is innocent blood on our hands that God will require an accounting for. Proverbs 6:16-17 says that God hates "hands that shed innocent blood." 49, almost 50 million, I heard it said that it would have made up a third of our generation (no source).
These fetuses are not even killed "humanely" (google abortion) meaning we euthanize our lab animals, and we have ethics policies (I've worked in a mouse lab) to protect them, but destroying fetuses doesn't even come close to how we treat our animals...only recently has there been an option for pregnant women to have their fetuses anesthetized before they are destroyed.
Even within a completely safe margin of error, you can not deny how staggering these numbers are...this is not even including the rest of the world. Abortion has to end, and we as believers MUST elect a president who will fight hard to end it.
    Here are my sources:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_war_I
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_war_II
    *****
Yeah, and that's the reason I'm supporting Huckabee also. The blood is in our hands if we are not supporting the candidates that are Pro-Life(only Huckabee is right now). God would You awaken Your church and let them see and hear! Lord whoever You have in mind, please reveal Your heart to us! I really do pray that Romney would endorse Huckabee with his 271 delegates!

    3. Revival burst out from Chapman University
Sarah texted Eddie that a revival has started in Chapman Univ. with just a couple people praying for the school, laying their lives down for the sake of God's presence. I can feel that right here at UCSD. God I ask that You will keep on bringing us into new territories of the enemy so that we can go into the core of the snake and crush its head! If we do not fight, we will never have a chance to win. If we fight in the name of Jesus, we win. College students, it's time for you to start praying for your campus. Whether you are called to pray or not, you are OBLIGATED to PRAY for YOUR CAMPUS for the sake of Christ. Like Sarah wrote in her blog: "Has anyone been praying for a revival? Has anyone WEEP for a revival?"

That's what we gotta do. Cry out. And before you know it, BOOM! All these three things were not expected. Yet they all happened on the same day. Woah. God Your timing is always perfect. I love You!

After music seminar I went and ate w/ Jeff and hung out. Man I really enjoy hanging out with him cuz his heart's burning with desire! Totally crazy dude right here. I ate so much: Ciabatta Steak Sandwich + Cream Puff. So full right now. Anyhow, I shared with him about what happened this morning and told him about the snake path. He's never been to the snake path! I told him about Genesis 3 and how it is depicted right there on our campus. He told me that he read my blog about it and was totally amazed by it. I'll make sure to take him up there and tell him more about how he can start praying for this school too! Then I told him a bit history of the fallen angel Lucifer = Satan = Snake. He was fascinated by that also. I can't tell you how encouraged I am when I read Jeff's blog today. He's got this unstoppable passion for Christ that I really cannot explain!

    That was some crazy day.
Other crazy stuff happened yesterday & today:
    1. Over 50 tornadoes were formed in one night in Tennesee, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Alabama. Many people were injured and some found dead. These huge natural disasters are crazy. Tornadoes don't usually occur in early February. God's got His hand in this. More and more signs are telling us that He's coming very soon.

    2. Huge gun fight in Los Angeles and St. Louis, MI. At least 11 were dead. Crazy.

Only Your blood can wash away all sins of this nation, Jesus.
Church, start praying for Saturday's primary for Republican: Kansas, Louisiana, Washington; Democrats: Louisiana, Nebraska, Washinton, Maine(Sunday). Pray for an unexpected result and God's hand moving!

    Johnny

ps. I spent over two hours studying math....my head is now full of integrals....ugh.

pps. 9 million Californian voters voted on Feb 5 primary! A record breaker! 41% of voters voted--a 10% boost from 2004's 6.6 million! Praise the Lord!

  4. Big Announcement!!!

    Thursday, February 7, 2008
    By johnny
First of all.....HAPPY YEAR Of RAT!
Too bad that wasn't the big announcement lol....

Ladies and Gentlemen...allow me to present you...
    JEFF'S BLOG(finally...)!
For those who can't understand Chinese, I'm sorry.
Jeff spent two hours typing his blog in Chinese.
Quite impressive for an ABC right there.
Keep it up bro. You're doing a great job blogging.

Anyhow, today was a good day after all.
Still don't quite know what God's doing in the election and in my school. But I can feel that something huge is coming our way to UC San Diego.
After class at 6pm I went to snake head and prayed with Jon. I confessed my sins before him and before the Lord. I felt burdened. And after the confession I really did feel lighter in spirit. Thank You Lord. I need Your constant healing and washing! We ask Your to break our hearts for what breaks Yours. We want to be like David, close to Your heart. Thank You Lord. We love You.
Because it was New Year's eve, Jeff and I went to the "most authentic" Chinese restaurant on campus: PANDA EXPRESS(woohoo...eh...)! Oh well, at least we kinda celebrated new year's eve with some fake Chinese food. Jeff said grace. During dinner, I talked to him a little about why we lift our hands up when we worship the Lord, and he really took it in. Anyhow, he dropped his fortune cookie by accident so I read my fortune to Jeff. WHEN YOU SEEK FOR FRIENDSHIP, YOU WILL FIND IT. I was like....dudddde that was totally God talking to you, man! God wants a relationship, not a religion. I told him that Abraham was the first dude that was called the "friend of God". We then met Steven Mark(the guy who drove Eddie and me up to LA for the conference) there and chatted a little. Then we all headed to Intervarsity's Large Group.
Tonight was the Praise & Prayer Night for Large Group. No speakers, no announcements, no fancy stuff. Just worship and pray. It was great. They've got prayer board, banners for painting, and all that jazzle. I wrote down a prayer to see justice in this school. I really do love what IV's doing. God's been blessing this fellowship so much! Anyhow, after LG I went out and joined Eddie and others from JHOP and 24/7 promoting Love Tent. Then Eddie started to talk to Ryan, the leader of IV on UCSD about how we should all come together as different parts of His body. And Ryan was totally up for that. He's a great guy, very humorous and energetic. He'll be joining us on snake head Tuesday mornings! I also shared with them about UC Riverside how there are just so many Christians very supportive about Love Tent and now the only prayer they need is the overnight permit! Dear Lord, You're doing things so fast that we cannot imagine! I love it!
Here's the crazy thing: Grace was so amazed at Jeff that she asked him to pray for her! I was like...amen to that. I bet that invitation of prayer totally boosted Jeff's faith up another big knotch! Praise the Lord! Jeff & I walked back to Revelle and I told him a little more about Abraham and the story in John chapter 4--the Samaritan Worman at the well. I realized how Jeff really enjoys all these stories in the Bible. He's fascinated by God's words!

What can wash away my sin?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
What can make us whole again?
Nothing but the blood of Jesus
    Oh, precious is the flow
That makes me white as snow
    No other fount I know
Nothing but the blood of Jesus

Without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.
    -Hebrews 9:22-

Thank You Jesus for Your sacrifice.
Glory to the Lamb that was slain.

  5. Super Tuesday + Mardi Gras

    Wednesday, February 6, 2008
    By johnny
Today was Super Tuesday & Mardi Gras.

    Woke up.
    Snake head.

Eddie asked all of us stop reading and listening to iPods and simply come before God and ask the Son of God be exalted and the snake's head be crushed today. He had a meeting with Huckabee and other 600 pastors all around San Diego. And Huckabbe said this himself, it goes something like this: If the humanism is not eradicated from UCSD, there will literally be bloodshed on campus by 2010. Eddie said that humanism is ALL they were talking about at that meeting. It's crazy how three years ago no one was really seeing this. So for half an hour we were praying the same prayer. Sarah was once again mentioned. Eddie told us, the current students, that we should just GO for three out of five of us are graduating this year. He said that Sarah took the baton and started to run, meet up with leaders and school deans. And I really do hope that this movement will continue and grow stronger in Christ. He also told us that our prayer meeting on the snake's head is HUGE. Many people are touched by our consistency and our determination and wanting to start movements too! Even Lou said that to Eddie the other day!
Went to class. Saw Brittany and asked her about her feet. She came in with crutches. She's going to the doctor tomorrow and hopefully she can be off crutches. Jesus right now I ask for a complete healing over Brittany's feet and her artheritis! In Jesus' Name I demand the pain and the disease to leave her body. Amen.
Went to vote for Huckabee. I pray that my vote is counted. Then I joined Victor, Brian, Maritha, and this cool Korean guy on Library walk holding up signs that says HUCKABEE FOR PRESIDENT! JUSTICE IN AMERICA! I LOVE HUCKABEE! Some people were supporting, and the others, bashing. One girl walked by giving us the finger even. God bless her soul. I ask a radical encounter from the Almighty Himself for that girl. Anyhow, I voted for Huckabee because he is the only Pro-life and Pro-family candidate that's left in the run. And I do pray that God would awaken the church to see which candidate is holding their policy up toward God, not men.
I was totally exausted. I took a 2-hour nap! I never take naps but I needed one so badly. Then I went to a music senimar. PRetty interesting and I learned quite a lot about music starting from late 19th century. So I missed out YOPP tonight, and I'll be missing out 24/7 and YOPP this Thurs and next Tuesday...oh well, I signed up for this class and it's only a 3 time deal. Pretty excited for the next class for each of us need to bring a piece of music that has to do with electronics. We'll see.
Afterwards I hung out with Jeff at school's cafe for like an hour. I told him all about Abraham, at least to my knowledge. But yeah it was good hanging out with him and knowing more about his life and all. God please don't stop stirring up Jeff's heart!

I'm in need of sleep, so that's about it today.
Keep on praying for justice and life in America.
Pray for the eradication of humanism in college campuses!
    Jesus I love You!

    Johnny

ps. Just checked. McCain won California, Arizona, and New York(three big ones) and is now on the lead, having 516 delegates. Romney has 207, and Huckbee is trailing after Romney, having 142. Clinton is now having a rope pull, with just 100 delegates ahead of Obama. Keep on praying, soldiers. Pray for justice and life.
